The Last Day.
An oil painting I did yesterday afternoon from the memory and impressions of a surf in the morning.
When we got in it was a typical misty silvery dawnie. Later on we drifted down to a weird shifty peak, big dark clouds came over but the sun poked out and hit the sea at a low angle giving the water this strange spearmint green glow. I thought at the time: if someone painted these colours, no-one would believe it looked like this.
But it did and I did.

A vicious looking wave at El Palmar from last week. Hard paddle out with no channel and some heavy duck dives. No guts no glory! (I stayed on the beach snapping while a couple of hardy guys took it on). More of this on the way over the next few days :))
