Painting by Celipe Perroloco "Corrupted Big Beagle"...
The thick black strokes, the thorny lines and the irregular surface of the cardboard remove the friendly, clean and commercial image of the pop icon.

Celipe strips the character of its innocent “magic” and turns it into a silent witness: between the adorable and the unsettling, between humor and melancholy, crossed by a strange introspective energy.

As if the icon had stopped performing for others and, for the first time, was left alone with its own contradictions.

Known as Fragile Freaks, Celipe Perroloco is a multidisciplinary artist who transforms materials such as cardboard and paper into creations full of strength and expressiveness.
