Here, we took advantage of the abstracted use of patterns, the most abstract in the series. We used the original brickwork to create colorful patterns around the building. We appreciated the architectural framing of the artwork, which makes the porcelain dogs appear to be on stage, with the patterns on them becoming costume-like.

The conversations we had with the public nurtured the narrative that the dogs in the park own the place. The notion of these pooches being indulged by their secondary people inspired us to turn these canine figurines into status symbols, making them the silent Queens of this park. Painting the resident dogs as porcelain figurines allowed us to play with scale and character— a street chihuahua named Gucci, a local celeb, became the biggest dog on the stage, mirroring his reputation.

Our third mural in the Enfield toilet block series, 'Pawcelain Palace,' honors the canine residents of Tottenhall Recreation Ground. Initially, we had the idea of inviting park-goers to be photographed on the bench, which is located at the back of the building. The goal was to create a collective of porcelain figures. Amaechi embarked on a mission to speak to the public in the park and was met with a common response: 'No, but you can photograph my dog!'

The palette features vibrant parakeets, charming bird cages, and the park's very popular resident ice cream van with its delightful ice creams. Nestled behind a tree near the nursery, the building exudes the magic of an enchanted cottage. We had fun romanticizing this public toilet—after all, why shouldn't joy and beauty be found in unlikely places?

We drew inspiration from the endearing quirks of the park and its users. Several locals joined us to paint, bringing along tea and biscuits—very fitting for creating an artwork reminiscent of a kitsch porcelain teapot!

Pomp & Privvy' was the 2nd in a series of 3 murals commissioned by Enfield council in response to an initiative to refurbish and re open public toilet blocks in the borough. Embraced by the warm hospitality of Jubilee Park's tight-knit community, we held a series of workshops specially looking at patterns and symbols which represented the park.

The floating worlds are inspired by Chinese porcelain but aim to capture the scenes and characters found in Craig's Park. A parent stopped to take a picture of their child in front of the artwork, while another child walking by pointed up at the figure in the painting, saying, 'that's me!'

The repeating shape creating a pattern, reminiscent of those found on plates, mirrors the climbing frame in the kids' playground.
Unfazed by the endless drizzle, some familiar faces appeared to lend a hand - including the wonderful local legend Dejani.

34Bus kicked off 2023 as toilet painters - thanks to Council - we found our niche! The architecture of the toilet blocks had us exploring porcelain design. Thoughts on the ceremonial, ritualized nature of drinking tea became a humorous juxtaposition to the everyday function of a public toilet. Our first mural, 'Plated,' is at Craigs Park, Edmonton. The team spent time sketching everyday moments and characters in the park, which were captured in the artwork.

Les Manos De Pepe' was painted in Valencia, Spain in January 2023.

The painting focuses on this point of connection between the farmer and the earth by situating a larger than life depiction of Pepe's hands above the farmland.
