«Between the cliffs», 2024

This painting is an experiment with composition. It depicts a landscape seen from a mountain, overlooking a valley and surrounding peaks. In the foreground, small rocks frame the scene, creating the effect of a "natural portal" through which the viewer gazes into the open space. I captured the reference for this landscape in the summer of 2024, and painted it in mid-December, recalling those warm summer days.

“Sunset among the clouds”, 2024

I created this scene in the summer of 2024. On my way to catch a train after a short local trip, I captured references of a sunset hidden behind dark, rainy clouds. The contrast between the stormy, gray clouds and the setting sun struck me. I’m sure you’ll find something intriguing in this scene!

I took the reference for this painting in the summer of 2024, but painted it towards the end of the year. It was a rainy summer day with stunning clouds. During my trip to Cullera a small town near Valencia, I hiked up a small mountain. From there, I witnessed an incredible landscape, which I later brought to paper months later, and now you can enjoy it too.
