🤯I have PROOF that IG purposefully keeps us from gathering our voices, sharing our artwork, and communing with other women.
I posted a rule-abiding image and text to my art project account .
All was well until I went back to tag some like-minded voices and artists I wanted to connect with. IG responded by saying they needed to protect the community from my post. This was the third time I tried this with a third different image... if IG allowed the image, and the text (both of which still stand on the account), why can’t I reach out to other artists, activists and accounts who are like-minded and fighting for equality just like I am? Where does it say in the rules that I won’t be allowed to tag like-minded accounts?
They are deliberately keeping us from gathering together, they are discriminating against us because we are women who don’t conform to how they believe women should behave.
Also note: at the bottom of my post I wrote “this post is made in protest, as is allowed by the Instagram community guidelines.”
