✨ ✨ Evenings at the store ✨

There is something magical about this place after sunset.

During the day, now with the newly opened brunch restaurant Nakama, the plaza fills with the sounds of coffee cups clinking, morning conversations, birdsong and the gentle rhythm of people passing through.

But as evening arrives, everything softens.

For now, I'm enjoying this quieter chapter, knowing that in the near future the evenings will bring their own atmosphere too — romantic dinners, friends gathering together, laughter drifting across the plaza and new memories being made as Nakama begins opening in the evenings.

Until then, the lights begin to glow, music drifts through the store, the palm trees whisper in the breeze, and visitors approach a little more slowly.

✨ Tardes en la tienda ✨

Hay algo mágico en este lugar después del atardecer.

Durante el día, ahora con la reciente apertura del restaurante de brunch Nakama, la plaza se llena con el tintineo de las tazas de café, las conversaciones matutinas, el canto de los pájaros y el suave ir y venir de la gente.

Pero al caer la noche, todo se suaviza.

Por ahora, disfruto de esta tranquilidad, sabiendo que pronto las tardes también tendrán su propio ambiente: cenas románticas, reuniones de amigos, risas que resuenan en la plaza y nuevos recuerdos que se crearán cuando Nakama abra sus puertas por las noches.

Mientras tanto, las luces comienzan a brillar, la música inunda la tienda, las palmeras susurran con la brisa y los visitantes se acercan un poco más despacio.

Usually when I create these hand-sculpted flower pendants, I place a single flower onto a sterling silver clasp… but this time I wondered what it would look like if the flowers began to grow across the piece instead.

What emerged was this little cluster of flowers, accented by Swarovski crystals and pearls, all suspended from a rose gold toned sterling silver chain 🌸

And now that I’ve made it… I want to create this style across all the different colour collections ✨

Sunday began later than usual as i adjust to a more relaxed way of living, a gentle start at 10.30am, even the wind has stepped aside to stop blowing for a while, it must have gone on vacation elsewhere, which means I can put a nice display outside the new store.
It’s warm here today on our island, breeze free, it feels different as if everything feels more intentional in the pause. Even little sparrows have started to appear in the plaza as it breathes new life, making it feel like a soft opening approved now by nature.

El domingo empezó más tarde de lo habitual, mientras me adapto a un estilo de vida más relajado. Empezó a las 10:30 de la mañana con calma; incluso el viento se ha calmado un rato, debe de haberse ido de vacaciones a otro sitio, lo que significa que puedo poner un bonito escaparate en la nueva tienda.
Hoy hace calor aquí en nuestra isla, no hay brisa, y se siente diferente, como si todo cobrara más sentido en esta pausa. Incluso han empezado a aparecer pequeños gorriones en la plaza, que cobra nueva vida, creando una sensación de inauguración discreta, aprobada ahora por la naturaleza.
