In Loving Memory of Our Dear Friend Roy

A tribute to our Naughty Boy Roy As we remember a friend so dear,
A familiar face we loved to see here.
With a twinkle in his eye and a cheeky grin,
Roy would light up the room the moment he’d walk in.

He loved his nights at Betty Boop’s, microphone in hand,
Singing songs he knew by heart, favourites that were grand.
Coward of the County, That’s Amore with delight,
Big Iron, Crystal Chandeliers, and The Last Farewell each night.

He could be mischievous, that much is true,
And sometimes a little grumpy too.
But behind that look and playful disguise,
Was a kind-hearted soul with warm, gentle eyes.

He loved a cuddle, a laugh, and a joke,
His dry sense of humour always spoke.
A clever remark, a witty reply,
Leaving us smiling as the hours flew by.

The karaoke nights won’t be quite the same,
There’ll always be an empty seat where Roy once came.
Yet when those favourite songs begin to play,
We’ll think of Roy and smile today.

Though the final farewell has come too soon,
His voice, his laughter, still fill the room.
And in the hearts of friends who loved him so,
The memories of our Roy will forever glow.

Goodnight, dear friend.
Sing loud, sing proud, and take your place among the stars.
You’ll always be remembered, always be missed,
And always be our Naughty Boy Roy. ❤️
