Just a reminder folks, from Monday and for the whole week we have Shea Doolin arriving at the famous Bar 67. As you know, Shea is one of the top ballad singers around right now and he really is not to be missed. Make sure you get in early on Monday for his first night. Music kicks off from 9pm with Mick Curley, followed by Shea. Going to be a cracking week of live music yet again. 🇮🇪🍀🎶

Morning folks. A lot of people have been asking me about the game on Sunday against Rangers. We’ll be open from 9am and serving breakfast, so make sure you get yourself down early. It’s going to be a busy one. We’re open three hours before kick-off and I’d definitely recommend getting down sharpish if you want to get yourself a seat. See you soon.

Morning folks, hope you're all well. What a cracking night we had last night with Adrian Kennedy's Music Bingo, absolutely fantastic and hopefully we'll have him back again very soon. Tonight we've got more top-class entertainment for you at the Famous Bar 67. First up, the Lonesome Boatman from 9pm, followed by Peadar Mór, who'll be with us for the next four nights. An absolutely top rebel singer from Ireland and not to be missed. For the football fans, we'll also be showing Liverpool v Tottenham and Ipswich Town v Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, both kicking off at 8pm. Food being served as always, so get yourselves down and make a night of it.

Hey guys, a friend of mine is moving back to the island and I’m wondering if anybody might have a room for rent or know of anything available that could help him out. He’s Spanish, a great guy and lived on the island for many years previously, so he knows the place well. If anybody has anything or knows of someone who does, please let me know. Cheers.

Fair play to our employee Majoub at Bar 67 for what he did the other night. As most people know, we sell football jerseys in the bar and have a selection of them hanging on display for customers to buy. Four grown lads decided they had come up with some genius plan where one would distract Majoub while the others helped themselves to jerseys from the display and walked out of the bar without paying. Unfortunately for them, Majoub was a lot sharper than they were. He spotted exactly what was going on, followed them outside, confronted them and got every jersey back. Then came the brilliant excuse: “Sorry, we’re drunk.” Imagine being a grown man and having to hand back stolen jerseys because you got caught, then blaming it on being drunk. Absolutely embarrassing. I have all four of you clearly on camera and, because I’m not interested in creating a massive drama, I won’t post the pictures this time. Consider yourselves very lucky. But let this be a warning to anyone else thinking of trying something similar: don’t come into our business and steal from us. Next time there’ll be no hiding faces and no second chances.
