¿Por qué ocurre ese sonido? 🤯🎨

Why does that sound happen? 🤯🎨
1. The escape of air (the ‘sponge’ effect):
When the paint is completely dry, the gaps between the minerals are filled with air. When water is poured on, it enters with such force that it violently expels the trapped air. That air breaks the surface of the water at full speed, creating small, audible ‘micro-explosions’.
2. The flux’s ‘thirst’:
The flux (such as borax), upon contact with water, releases energy (heat). This process is so rapid that it generates tiny vapour bubbles which burst instantly, producing that ‘sizzling’ sound.
3. The breaking of micro-crystals:
As it dries, the flux forms a very fine, transparent crust that holds the powders together. When wet, this crystalline “skin” fractures suddenly to let the water through, causing a microscopic crackling sound.
