Bringing together the potential —and currently absent— interaction between art, politics and education, Aulas y ausencias examines how artistic and humanistic pedagogies revert into demographic flows and the distribution of cultural agency, while illuminating, seemingly unnoticed, power dynamics.

fluent se complace en anunciar la apertura de la convocatoria para participar en la primera edición de Praxis, un programa de estudios que tendrá lugar de manera presencial entre el 20 de septiembre y el 22 de diciembre de 2023.

Este aparato educativo, abierto a participantes procedentes de distintos campos de conocimiento, tiene una duración de 14 semanas (180 horas lectivas) y tiene como objetivo instigar un proceso de aprendizaje teórico y práctico que se sumerja en los sistemas que constituyen nuestras vidas materiales e inmateriales.

El programa se estructura en cuatro dimensiones (o módulos de aprendizaje):

I MÓDULO: DIMENSIÓN VITAL (Dirigido por Yayo Herrero)

II MÓDULO: LA DIMENSIÓN DEL LENGUAJE Y LA IDENTIDAD (Dirigido por CAConrad)

III MÓDULO: DIMENSIÓN ESTRUCTURAL (Dirigido por Stefano Harney)

IV MÓDULO: DIMENSIÓN CORPORAL Y DEL MOVIMIENTO (Co–dirigido por Andrea Rodrigo e Isabel de Naverán)

El grupo de profesores también incluye docentes invitados como Denise Ferreira da Silva, Lamin Fofana, Maurin Dietrich, Reto Pulfer, Paulino Viota, Michael Marder, Ibon Aranberri, Agustín Pérez Rubio, B. Ingrid Olson, Bárbara Rodríguez Muñoz, Andrea Soto Calderón, Alejandro Alonso Díaz, Inland Campo Adentro, Dodie Bellamy y otros aún por confirmar.

Aquellas personas interesadas ​​en participar en Praxis pueden enviar sus solicitudes hasta el 20 de agosto por correo electrónico a [email protected] incluyendo:

– Una carta expresando su interés en el programa (no más de una página).

– Un CV que incluya los ejemplos de trabajo más relevantes a su práctica actual.

Como parte del programa, fluent ofrece a ls participantes alojamiento gratuito en la ciudad, así como cinco becas a candidats seleccionads.

fluent is excited to call for candidates from different fields of knowledge to apply for the first edition of Praxis, a study programme taking place from September 20 through December 22, 2023.

Those interested in taking part in Praxis must submit their applications by August 20th via e–mail to [email protected] including:

– A letter expressing their interest in the program (no longer than one page).

– A CV including the most relevant work instances to their current practice.

As part of the programme, fluent provides all participants with free accommodation in town as well as five grants to selected candidates.

Operating as an elusive emotional current, “emotional infinity (the sound of them coming back, amplified and looped)” moves the air in the space while creating a sound of familiarity, both private and social. More than objects, the ever–growing archive of keys condenses an expansive overlapping of intimate gestures and exchanges. Like personal offerings obtained by Touliatou through informal arrangements of trust, the work moves within the infinite loop of one’s introspection, and the larger conditions of structural precariousness, speculation and economic/emotional bonding.

Activando una elusiva corriente emocional, “emotional infinity (the sound of them coming back, amplified and looped)” hace circular el aire del espacio mientras genera un sonido familiar que es privado y social a la vez. Más que objetos, este creciente archivo de llaves condensa la superposición de gestos e intercambios íntimos. Como si fuesen ofrendas personales obtenidas por Touliatou a través de acuerdos informales, la obra se mueve dentro del ciclo infinito de la introspección y de los condicionantes de precariedad estructural, especulación y vínculos económico/emocionales.
