“Las Huellas del Sol” by MARCEL BOER at Olas Gallery • Ibiza

An exploration of light and the traces it leaves behind by Ibiza-based photographer Marcel Boer.

Made in and around Ibiza, these photographs explore the island through warm golden tones, Mediterranean reflections and the constant movement of light across surfaces and objects.

Light is never quite the same twice. Marcel captures these fleeting encounters, transforming ordinary moments into something unexpected.

His work offers a fresh and deeply familiar vision of Ibiza — intimate, simple and surrounded by a subtle sense of mystery. A way of making the everyday feel new, and of finding beauty in the moments that exist only for an instant.
