An Irish man a Scots man an English man and a Norwigan man walked into a bar........

A big thank you to these 4 pioneers who participated in our first trial 6 ball snooker mini knock out last night.
The players were fairly matched and the event was played in good spirits. The foul and miss rule called for some additional concentration and helped keep play focused.
All the matches were close with the Irish man emerging the eventual winner.

Several folks who couldn’t attend expressed interest in playing in similar future events. To this end we plan to organise another 6 Ball mini knock out on Friday 28th October. Watch this space for updates and look out for info posted in the cocktail bar.

𝗦𝗶𝘅 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁-𝗢𝘂𝘁!

👉 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 evening, we are holding our very first 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁-𝗼𝘂𝘁!

☝️ 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 - On this occasion, the competition is limited to 8 entrants.

🏆 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥'𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲: the overall winner will receive a Sunday Roast Dinner for 2 people in the Barbacoa Gran Canaria.

🕜 7pm to approx. 8:30pm

· The competition will be a 1 frame knock out.

· The four first round matches will start simultaneously using our four tables.

· The four winners from round one will then play the semi-finals on Tables 1 & 2

· The Final will be played on Table 1.

❗𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗦 ❗
𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙞𝙭 𝙍𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙣𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙧 are as regular snooker but with a few small differences to allow the game to be quick.

1) There will be no more than three consecutive Foul and a Miss calls at any one time.

2) After three consecutive Foul and a Miss calls, the following options are available to the non-striker:
- A) play him or herself from where the balls have come to rest;
- B) ask his or her opponent to play from where the balls have to come to rest;
- C) place the cue ball anywhere on the table, but this option cannot be taken if play has reached the "snookers required" stage.

3) A player cannot snooker behind a nominated colour at any time.
