Brooke Mayo became the first openly LGBTQ+ match official to participate in a Men's FIFA World Cup match.

Together with Tori Penso and Kathryn Nesbitt, she was part of a historic all-female officiating team during the Czechia vs South Africa match.

Have you ever hidden who you are while travelling?

For many LGBTQ+ people, this isn't a hypothetical question.

It's changing the way you talk about your relationship.

It's hesitating before holding someone's hand.

It's wondering whether it's safe to be yourself in a new place.

A recent international study found that more than two thirds of LGBTQ+ people hide part of their identity while travelling.

Not because they want to.

Because sometimes they feel they have to.

At ELLA, we believe everyone deserves to explore the world feeling safe, respected and free to be themselves.

Sapphics, assemble. 💋🌈

I Kissed a Girl is officially returning for its second — and final — series.

Hosted by Dannii Minogue, the dating show brings q***r women back to prime-time television for another summer of first kisses, unexpected connections, honest conversations and, undoubtedly, a little chaos.

The first two episodes premiere on June 23 at 9 PM on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

Representation like this matters.

Q***r women deserve to see themselves falling in love, flirting, making mistakes and taking up space on mainstream television — not only in stories of struggle, but also in stories filled with joy, desire and possibility.

Sadly, this will be the programme’s final series after the BBC confirmed that the franchise would not continue beyond 2026.
