BARÓ was founded by María Baró in 1999 and currently it is formed by its founder and Enno R. The gallery program has become a point of reference for international art in the Brazilian art scenes and, at the same time, has crossed borders, projecting Latin American art to other latitudes. Also, it has participated in numerous art fairs such as Miami Basel, Armony- NY, ArtBO, ArtBA, Sp-Arte, ArtRio,

MACO-México, Arco- Madrid, ArtDubai, Frienze NY, Frieze Masters, among others. After twenty years in Latin America, BARÓ propused to expand its activities to the European continent, starting with the creation of the BARÓ House program ( Madrid, Spain ) as an experimental space for the encounter between creators, thinkers and collectors. In 2021, BARÓ Gallery gives birth to BARÓ Lisbon and BARÓ Mallorca. The first operates as a space for dissemination, projection and consulting, through programs such as BARÓ INsiTU, a platform for the development and production of contemporary art projects adapted to a specific architectual or landscape enviroment; a facilitating agency between artists, collectors, companies and institutions that promotes the integration of Site Specific works in public or private collections. The second, BARÓ Mallorca, initiating a new stage for BARÓ, inaugurated a new venue offering for the rapprochement between Europe and the Américas, as well as a part of the rich artistic panorama offered by the Mediterranean. BARÓ gallery, as a center for the arts, has been striving to allow the expression and diffusion of contemporary art languages, and has also become a facilititing entity between artists, institutions and collectors.

We are pleased to announce PNEUMA. Entre los silencios del movimiento, a solo exhibition by Elias Crespin at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Esteban Vicente, Segovia, Spain, opening on 19 June 2026 at 7 PM. Marking the artist’s first major solo exhibition in a Spanish institution, the project offers a significant overview of Crespin’s ongoing exploration of movement, space, and perception.

Taking its title from the Greek word for “breath,” PNEUMA brings together a selection of kinetic works in which movement unfolds with remarkable subtlety and precision. Through suspended structures that expand, contract, and transform in space, Crespin creates a contemplative environment where rhythm, light, and motion converge.

A leading figure in contemporary kinetic art, Crespin continues his exploration of movement as a poetic and perceptual experience. Rather than spectacle, the exhibition invites viewers to slow down, observe closely, and engage with the delicate choreography of forms in constant transformation.

Throughout Eroded Horizon, forms appear suspended between emergence and decay, permanence and erosion. Classical busts reveal technological interiors, hands become labyrinthine structures, and landscapes dissolve into cinematic terrains where the ancient and the imminent continually exchange places. Across sculpture, drawing, and painting, Arsham works with marble, sand, bronze, graphite, charcoal, and acrylic to create surfaces that appear simultaneously ancient and futuristic.

Developed in dialogue with the historic architecture and circulation of Passage Véro-Dodat, Inside the Waterfall, 12 Bones Birthed a Flower unfolds as an immersive spatial environment where sculpture, material, sound, and ritual operate as interconnected elements. Drawing from Yoruba and Cherokee cosmologies, Agbo-Ola creates spatial environments shaped by material interaction, ritual references, and sensory perception.
