Próximo evento: V Feria del Libro
​¡Presentación oficial!

Tras el gran éxito del pasado sábado en Rodalquilar, hoy os presentamos el cartel de nuestro próximo evento.

​Esta es ya la quinta feria del libro que organizamos en los últimos años. Se celebrará el próximo 23 de mayo en el Camping Los Escullos y será la primera de este año.

Announcement to the members of Cactus Níjar and those who want to be

​Dear members,
​Today we want to share some important news with you: a new stage is beginning at Cactus Níjar.

​In recent weeks, a new Board of Directors has been elected, taking on this responsibility with enthusiasm, commitment, and a strong desire to continue building this shared project.
We know that associations are not just a legal structure: they are the people who sustain them, those who believe in them, and those who give them meaning.

That is why this message is, above all, an invitation to count on you.
​As you already know, the association will no longer have the use of the Cactus Níjar Nursery space.

We are closing a chapter linked to that very special place, giving thanks for everything experienced there, and opening another with new challenges and opportunities.

​We are already working on a renewed program of concerts and performances. The next gathering will be on April 18th at 1:00 PM at the Casa de los Volcanes in Rodalquilar, where we will celebrate this new beginning together with music and fellowship. We would love to see you there.

​For this new stage to be solid and sustainable, we need your support.

The annual membership fee for this year will be €20, a fundamental contribution to organizing activities, managing permits, producing events, and continuing to grow.

​We will soon inform you of the new bank account number, which is currently being opened.

​Additionally, we are making modifications to the association's statutes, which we will soon present to you for approval. We want this process to be participatory and transparent, and for you to feel that Cactus Níjar remains a collective project.

​Now more than ever, we need your energy, your presence, and your trust. Every single member counts. Every gesture adds up.

Os invitamos a asistir a nuestro próximo evento el 15 de noviembre de 2025 a las 13 horas: un Concierto de Big Band Jazz y una Exposición de Arte.

Concierto de Jazz a cargo del Big Band MA (Fines)

FORMACION - MA Big Band es una formacio de mas dde 20 musicos experimentados de la zona del allto Almanzora, con instrumentos como tronpeta, trombon, bateria, guitarra, y voz etc

HISTORIA - La vida de la M.A. Big Band empieza en 2021 cuando tenia otra nombre y se ubicaba un otra localidad, donde cabe destacar actuaciones en Clasijazz (Almeria) y Fines Jazz Fetival, (Fines). En 2023 dio comienzo su andadura con nuevo nombre y nuevo localidad (Fines)

REPERTORIO - Actualmente el repertorio de la formacion es muy variado y rico culturalmente, mezclando muchos extilos desde smooth jazz hasta el Funky mas movido y enercico

Una exposición de arte de las pinturas en acuarela de Eva Navarro

Eva Navarro es una farmacéutica y microbióloga que colabora con la ONG* Dermalawi. En su última campaña en Malawi, realizó una serie de acuarelas en forma de diario basadas en su hallazgos microbiológicos y en sus experiencias personales.

Dermalawi es una ONG formada por un equipo de profesionales sanitarios, en su mayoría españoles y malauíes, cuya finalidad es mejorar la salud de la población de los distritos de Nkhotakota y Salima de Malawi.

A Jazz concert by the Big Band MA (Fines)
FORMATION - MA Big Band is a group of more than 20 experienced musicians from the Alto Almanzora area, with instruments such as trumpet, trombone, drums, guitar, and vocals, etc.
HISTORY - The life of the M.A. Big Band began in 2021 when it had a different name and was located in another town, with notable performances at Clasijazz (Almeria) and Fines Jazz Festival (Fines). In 2023, it started its journey with a new name and a new location (Fines).
REPERTOIRE - Currently, the band's repertoire is very varied and culturally rich, blending many styles from smooth jazz to the most lively and energetic Funk.
An Art exhibition of the watercolour paintings of Eva Navarro

Eva Navarro is a pharmacist and microbiologist who collaborates with the NGO* Dermalawi. In her latest campaign in Malawi, she created a series of watercolors in the form of a diary based on her microbiological findings and personal experiences.Dermalawi is an NGO made up of a team of healthcare professionals, mostly Spanish and Malawian, whose goal is to improve the health of the population in the Nkhotakota and Salima districts of Malawi.“Charity Market of the NGO Dermalawi”

Entrance for members is free for existing members and a donnation of 5 Euros is asked of non-members.
The bar will be open as usual serving the special snacks which are prepared by the volunteer comrades of the association. Please buy your food/drink tickets in advance from the person at the table by the bar. Also please return with your paper plates and cups etc., for additional purchases and deposit everything in the bins provided on leaving at the end of the event. Thank you
