The Cooking Dance Festival is a 4-week ballet and 3-week contemporary dance event that takes place June 28th to July 24, 2021 in Castelldefels, Spain, a beach town just outside of Barcelona. The festival consists of classes, performances, international auditions, exhibitions, debates, and competitions. CUBALLET
Cuballet is the 4-week ballet intensive of Cooking Dance, designed pre-professional dan
ce students, 10 years and up, who wish to work with some of the greatest dance teachers of the Cuban school. At the end of 4 weeks, the course winds up with a public performance of Le Corsaire at the Teatre de Sant Cugat, to showcase everything the students have learned with the Cuballet faculty. The course is comprised of daily classes in ballet technique, pointe, variations, repertoire, contemporary, pas de deux, and character dances. In addition to daily classes, the students will participate in daily rehearsals.
COOKTEMPORARY DANCE
Cooktemporary Dance is the 3-week contemporary course of Cooking Dance for national and international students, and taught by internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. Its main goal is to connect dancers with the professional International dance world, and consists of daily workshops and performances. Training at Cooktemporary Dance includes workshops for beginners, intermediate, and professional dancers.
