Centro de Artes Mijas is a cultural and historical heritage of the city. The centre was created 50 years ago by two enthusiastic newcomers who wanted to bring creativity and art to the locals of Mijas Pueblo. The centre quickly became a success and people of all ages came to the centre daily. It became a very popular haven for children and adults. Everyone who has been a child in Mijas Pueblo for 30 - 40 and 50 years and afterwards, remembers the place with great pleasure. Locals, newcomers and foreigners have also enjoyed all the activities that have taken place in the centre over the years. We offer classes for all ages and abilities, whether you're a total beginner or wanting to improve your artistic skills. Paint and draw for pleasure or perhaps try a new skill like ceramics and sculpture or dance. The emphasis is enjoyment and having fun within a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Our studio nestles in the centre of Mijas, an idyllic Spanish village with inspirational views of the sea and mountains. Art Centre Mijas is next to the main square, in front of the Town Hall and the Tourist Office. You can enjoy the views of this charming white village from our balcony. WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU!
