Are you expecting different results but doing always the same? Are you actually tapping into your creativity ? Exploring other avenues? To get a different result you need to change your actions, your way of thinking. What can help you? Look around you, there is beauty everywhere. Notice it, see it, be fully present to what you see. Get out of your mind, take a pencil, pastels, colours, breathe and let your hand move freely. Dance or sing. By doing creative activities you open up your creator door, you connect with your essence and you start being the creator of your life. I would love to hear what creative action you are going to take today.

I am a self taught artist born in Geneva, Switzerland and of Spanish origin.

I have been painting for more than 25 years, although not always on a regular basis. Colour, paint, move were calling me. About 15 years ago, when I registered for a drawing/painting class I selected the one that promised discovering different techniques in a free way. I took this course every second Saturday for about 14 years. It was a space for creation, learning, sharing and relaxing. Art and creation were a breath of fresh air in my busy life.

I think I never was really attracted to reproducing reality or a picture. I can do it, and now feel more pleasure in doing so, but it is far less satisfying than free creation, playing with colours and freedom of move.

I've learned and continue learning not to judge my work, to allow mistakes, to transform them into something full of beauty, something more lively, to persevere when frustration emerges, to stop and pause for a while, to take some distance to get a better perspective. To let moves act without will, without a firm objective, without judgement. So my artistic practice is, in some way, also a spiritual practice.

I love to experiment different techniques and in particular love working with texture and including different materials on my canvas. I create intuitively and generally I do not have a plan, a particular idea or intention when I start a new work. I let the work emerge by itself. In some way it creates itself, it tells me where I should add colour, that this place, here, is not balanced, this part, there, not integrated. It is a kind of dialogue. And sometimes it tells me" that's ok, it's finished", even though I may not be convinced. Each work is created trhough my soul and brings a healing energy to the world and I hope to your home.

Since I moved to Spain in 2017, I started painting on canvas (until then I mainly worked on paper), first to decorate my home's walls, then just for pleasure and now I am happy to share my work with you. I hope you will have as much pleasure in seeing my paints than I have in painting them. I wish they find a new home to bring light and joy to and I wish it is yours.

Bienvenidos a mi página de arte. Soy una artista autodidacta, nacida en Ginebra, Suiza y de origen español.

Hace ya más de 25 años que pinto aunque no siempre de manera regular. El color, la pintura, el gesto me llamaban pero no sé muy bien dibujar y las clases de dibujo me parecían aburridas. Cuando hace ya más de 15 años me inscribí a una clase de dibujo/pintura seleccioné la que prometía la exploración de varias técnicas de manera libre. Que no pretendía enseñarme a dibujar y que dejaba bien claro que no era necesario saber dibujar para beneficiarse plenamente de su enseñanza. Seguí este curso sábado sí, sábado no durante cerca de 14 años. Era un espacio de creación, de aprendizaje, de intercambio y de relajación. El arte y la creación eran un soplo de aire fresco en una vida muy agitada.

Creo que nunca he tenido verdaderamente ganas de reproducir la realidad o una imagen. Puedo hacerlo y ahora me gusta más pero sigue siendo para mi menos satisfactorio que la creación libre, el juego de los colores y la libertad del gesto.

He aprendido y sigo aprendiendo a no juzgar mi obra, a permitir los errores, a transformarles en algo bonito, más vivo, a perseverar cuando se instala la frustración, a tomar un descanso y distancia para obtener una mejor perspectiva. A dejar actuar el gesto, sin voluntad, sin objetivo preciso, sin juzgar. Esto hace de mi práctica artística también una práctica espiritual.

Me gusta experimentar diferentes técnicas y me gusta particularmente la textura, el relieve, las inclusiones de materiales diversos. Creo de manera intuitiva y, generalmente, no tengo plan, idea o intención cuando empiezo una obra nueva. Dejo que surja sola. De cierto modo se crea ella sola, me indica donde tengo que añadir el color, que este ángulo, aquí, no está equilibrado, que esa parte de allí no está integrada. Es una especie de diálogo. Y a veces me dice: "ya está, ya se acabó" aunque yo no esté muy segura. Todas mis obras nacen desde mi alma y traen al mundo, y espero a vuestras casas, una energía de sanación.

Desde que me instalé en España en 2017 empecé a pintar sobre lienzo (hasta entonces trabajaba sobretodo con papel) en primer lugar para decorar los muros de nuestra casa y luego por placer y ahora soy feliz de compartir mi trabajo con vosotros. Espero que tengáis tanto gusto en ver mis pinturas que yo en pintarlas. Deseo que encuentren un nuevo hogar al cual aportar luz y alegría y que ese sea el vuestro.
