Aquí no estoy pintando solo un fondo, estoy construyendo una estructura que tendrá que fundirse con la figura.
En esta obra quiero que los planos rectangulares tengan la misma importancia que el cuerpo. No serán solo el espacio donde aparece la figura: tendrán que entrar en relación con ella, tocarla, modificarla y confundirse en algunos puntos.
Por eso esta primera capa tiene más materia de lo habitual. Necesito que la estructura tenga presencia desde el inicio, antes de que la figura empiece a aparecer.

I am not painting a background. I am building a structure that will have to merge with the figure.
In this work, I want the rectangular planes to have the same importance as the body. They will not simply be the space where the figure appears: they will have to relate to it, touch it, modify it, and merge with it in some areas.
That is why this first layer has more material than usual. I need the structure to have presence from the beginning, before the figure starts to appear.
