Ela Fidalgo’s Sistema Blando II explores the body as an affective archive, a place where memory, care, absence and vulnerability take material form.

Working with sewing, embroidery and soft textile materials, Fidalgo constructs fragmented bodies that appear fragile yet resistant. Faces, gestures and organic forms become traces of shared histories, while the act of stitching functions as a gesture of repair: the thread does not hide the wound, but marks it, holds it together and turns it into language.

In “A veces el amor solo sabe quedarse”, love is understood not as movement or resolution, but as permanence: a quiet presence that remains, insists and becomes a form of care. “Antes del Beso” inhabits in the suspended instant before contact, a minimal distance charged with desire, vulnerability and possibility.

Bringing together works from some of Martin Parr’s most iconic series, A Matter of Taste traces the distinctive visual language through which he observed contemporary society over more than five decades.

Martin Parr (United Kingdom, 1952–2025) was one of the most influential figures in contemporary documentary photography. Throughout his career, he focused on the habits, aspirations and contradictions of everyday life, developing an unmistakable visual language through which leisure, consumption, class and social behaviour became central subjects of observation.

The first room of the exhibition brings together works from landmark series including The Last Resort and Common Sense. These photographs reveal Parr’s ability to transform ordinary situations into sharp and memorable cultural documents, combining humour, affection and a critical observation of contemporary life.

Presented in close collaboration with the Martin Parr Foundation, A Matter of Taste is conceived as a tribute to Parr’s exceptional career and enduring influence on contemporary photography.

Henri Haake Henri Haake (b. 1989, Lübeck) joins our artist residency program in Gistel, Belgium, where he will develop a new body of work to be presented in a group exhibition curated by Domenico de Chirico (Domenico de Chirico) opening in November 2026.

Haake’s canvases evolve through a continuous cycle of adding and obscuring paint, resulting in fragmented stories that hover between clarity and abstraction. By blending natural textures with cultural traces, his art reflects on our changing environment. It is a body of work defined by atmosphere and concealed histories, where subtle tones guide the emotion of each piece.

The universe of Iñigo Navarro (Madrid,
1977) unfolds between memory and dream, the familiar and the uncanny. His paintings open cracks in reality, revealing parallel worlds inhabited by animals, masks and recurring figures drawn from a deeply personal mythology.

The mask becomes a space where disguise may feel more truthful than the subject itself, and identity appear as a fiction in constant transformation.

Rooted in the history of painting and shaped by literature, cinema and contemporary culture, Navarro uses painting as a means to move from the visible towards the invisible.
