Multimedialna instalacja modowa "Solaris. to
autorski projekt Pauliny Połoz, który będzie miał swoją premierę w
renomowanej przestrzeni Fundación Adolfo Domínguez w samym sercu
Madrytu już 16 września 2011 roku. Do stworzenia projektu artystkę zainspirowała twórczość Stanisława
Lema, a w szczególności dzieło „Solaris”. Instalacja oparta jest na niekonwencjonalnej ekspozycji kolekcji
ubiorów, bez
tradycyjnego udziału modeli i modelek prezentujących
ubrania. Poszczególne sylwetki "zamknięte" są w obiektach z pleksi,
odpowiednio podświetlonych i zakomponowanych w przestrzeni galerii. Odbiorca ma możliwość przemieszczać się pomiędzy obiektami i oglądać
je z różnych perspektyw. Zamknięte w obiektach z pleksi stroje są
elementami spójnej kolekcji ubiorów mody użytkowej. Część przestrzenną
instalacji dopełnia część multimedialna oparta na projekcjach dwóch
filmów, zrealizowanych według scenariusza Pauliny Połoz. To płaszczyzna,
która ma komunikować odbiorcę z "obiektami" zamkniętymi w pleksi. Medium łączącym przestrzeń obiektów zamkniętych w pleksi z
wyświetlanymi filmami jest skomponowana specjalnie do instalacji
muzyka oraz światło. Kolekcja Solaris jest integralną częścią multimedialnej instalacji
modowej "Solaris. Kolekcja łączy w sobie
futurystyczny charakter z postpunkowym pazurem. Projektantka sięgnęła
do klasyki po formy ramoneski i prochowca. Odzienia wierzchnie -
męskie i damskie to wariacje na ich temat. Artystka łączy ze sobą ich
konstrukcje tworząc autorskie formy oraz sporo eksperymentuje z
tkaninami zastosowanymi w modelach płaszczy i kurtek. Dwie główne cechy tej kolekcji to eklektyzm oraz gra kontrastami. Projektantka klasykę przełamuje awangardą, punkową ostrą stylistykę
zestawia z dzianinowymi sportowymi elementami oraz z subtelną
kolorystyką n**e, funkcjonalności przeciwstawia unikatowość. Jednocześnie dba o spójność kolekcji oraz możliwość dowolnego

Fashion multimedia installation “Solaris. Illusion.” is an independent project by Paulina Poloz whose premiere will have its venue in the renowned space of Fundación Adolfo Domínguez right in the heart of Madrid as soon as on September 16, 2011. The project was inspired by the works of Stanislav Lem, in particular his novel “Solaris”. The installation is focused around an unconventional exposition of the collection of clothes which are presented without the traditional participation of models. Individual silhouettes are “enclosed” in Plexiglass objects which are suitably illuminated and composed in the gallery space. The recipient can walk among the objects and watch them from different perspectives. The dresses enclosed in Plexiglass objects are the elements of a consistent collection of prêt-a-porter clothes. The spatial part of the installation is completed by the multimedia part focusing around screenings of two films based on the script by Paulina Poloz. It is a platform which communicates the recipient with the “objects” enclosed in the Plexiglass. The media which link the space of the objects enclosed in Plexiglass with the film screenings are the music composed specially for the installation and the light. The Solaris collection is an integral part of the fashion installation “Solaris. Illusion.” The collection comprises the futuristic character and post-punk sparkle. The designer made use of classic forms of the Perfecto jacket and a trench coat. Outer garments for both women and men are the variations on them. The artist merges their constructions creating original forms. She also experiments with the fabrics used in the models of coats and jackets. Two main features of the collection are eclecticism and play of contrasts. The designer combines the classics with the avant-garde, juxtaposes severe punk style with knitted sports elements and subtle n**e colours, opposes functionality to uniqueness. At the same time she gives attention to the consistency of the collection and makes sure that individual models can be freely set together. The organizer of the event is the Art Factory in Lodz.
