I’ve been practicing web security using a tool called Burp Suite.
Imagine you are sending a note to a friend, but someone checks the note halfway to make sure there are no hidden tricks written on it—that’s exactly what this tool does for websites!
Here’s what I worked on:
Intercepting Messages: Catching the hidden communication between a web browser and a website.
Testing Security Locks: Checking if putting strange characters into a search bar can break the site's database (a common trick called SQL injection).
Fixing the Gaps: Learning how developers can lock down their sites so user data stays private.
