Smoking Kills has just been selected at — Cannes Showcase 2026. 🎬

177 selections and 90 international awards to date.
From North America to South America, through Africa, Australia and Europe.
Today, my film will be screened in Cannes as part of the Showcase.

This is a pride that honors my journey and everyone who worked on this film, closely or from afar.

De l’Amérique du Nord à l’Amérique du Sud, en passant par l’Afrique, l’Australie et l’Europe.

Aujourd’hui, mon film est projeté à Cannes dans le cadre du Showcase .

C’est une fierté qui récompense mon parcours et celui de tous ceux qui ont travaillé sur ce film ,de près ou de loin.

After the show, time to celebrate and connect. 🥂✨
What a great experience to once again be part of the Global Entertainment Awards as a jury member, held this year in Marbella, Spain.

It was an honour to present and hand out awards in the Cinema category, and to discover outstanding creative work linked to platforms such as Netflix, HBO, Amazon and Disney, as well as the video game industry. 🎬🏆

A special thank you to JoJo Dye, Alejandro Barrios, Tim Cole and the entire GEA team for their kindness and warm welcome.

Quelle belle expérience de participer à nouveau aux Global Entertainment Awards en tant que membre du jury, organisés cette année à Marbella, Espagne. One of the highlights of this 6th edition of the Global Entertainment Awards in Marbella.
For the first time, I was invited to present and hand out awards in the Cinema category — alongside the two official hosts of the show. 🎬🏆
An honour. A moment I won’t forget.
A special thank you to Alejandro Barrios and the entire GEA team for the trust and the invitation.

Un des moments forts de cette 6ème édition des Global Entertainment Awards à Marbella.
Pour la première fois, j’ai eu l’honneur de présenter et de remettre les prix dans la catégorie cinéma — aux côtés des deux présentateurs officiels du show. 🎬🏆

Depuis 2022, je participe aux Global Entertainment Awards en tant que membre du jury. Nouveauté pour moi pour cette 6ème édition à Marbella : l’organisation des GEA m’a demandé de présenter et de remettre les prix dans la catégorie cinéma. 🎬🏆
Je n’ai pas pu m’empêcher de prendre quelques clichés du prompteur que j’allais devoir suivre quelques heures plus tard… et bien sûr, m’apprêter en tenue adéquate pour le show. ✨

Since 2022, I’ve been part of the Global Entertainment Awards as a jury member. Something new for me at this 6th edition in Marbella: the GEA organisation asked me to host and present awards in the film category. 🎬🏆
I couldn’t help taking a few shots of the teleprompter I was about to follow a few hours later… and of course, getting dressed for the show.

Arrivé sur les lieux des GEA 2026, direction les forums du matin. 🎬
CEO, directrices et directeurs de production, trailer editor, superviseur audio, game producer… Chacun partage son workflow, ses coulisses, la réflexion menée en amont avant de lancer le process. Et à travers leurs anecdotes inspirantes, on mesure tout ce qui se pense avant même que le travail commence.
En tant que membre du jury et réalisateur-monteur moi-même, je me suis reconnu dans plus d’une situation — des anecdotes liées à la créativité qui ont parfois fait sourire toute la salle. ✨

Arriving at the GEA 2026 venue — first stop, the morning forums. 🎬
CEOs, production directors, trailer editor, audio supervisor, game producer… Each one sharing their workflow, their process, the thinking behind the work before it even begins. And through their inspiring stories, you realize just how much happens before anything starts.
As a jury member and director-editor myself, I recognized myself in more than one situation — stories about creativity that had the whole room smiling. ✨

Il y a quelques semaines, j’arrivais en Espagne pour une nouvelle édition des Global Entertainment Awards !

Un cadre exceptionnel, une organisation au millimètre, et une journée bien remplie… Entre forums du matin et tournage du show de remise des prix, l’ambiance était déjà là. 🎬✨
La suite arrive très vite…

I also had the pleasure of presenting and awarding several prizes in the Cinema category during the ceremony.

Honoré d’avoir été à nouveau invité en tant que membre du Jury pour les Global Entertainment Awards 2026, qui se sont déroulés cette année à Marbella, Malaga en Espagne.
