We’ve got it folks! All miniatures have been manufactured and delivered to the packing facilities. Thanks to the amazing team from for their incredible work on producing the set!

All miniatures are color-coded, making it very easy for the players to recognize what’s happening on the map in an instant. The colors and details are striking on these minis… we can’t wait for you all to get your sets!

Here are some production samples of the latest batch of monsters. These left the SIOCAST molding machines just last week. We’re progressing fast! The whole set of 17.500 minis is expected later this month.

🕷️ BOARDQUEST MINIS 🕷️

If you follow our Kickstarter updates then you’d know that we’ve recently started the game production! Today for the first time we have held the complete collection of our miniatures from the 3D print of masters and sample SiOCAST molds, received from . Each mini has its own unique character and a great presence on the board.

Next stop for us is sizing the miniature box insert so the minis don’t move around in transport - and then doing the color samples.

Playtesting the Solo Campaigns for that final and crucial bit of polishing!!
The two campaigns will take you on a journey through Liria from the Lirian and the Demon perspective so you can observe how things play out if Demons prevail or if the defenders prevail. Who will you side with? We are really excited to bring this to our players soon!!

🌞 PROGRESS BOARDS 🌞

We’ve just received a test print of the new Progress Boards from .games! These little guys have gone through a few iterations lately. We’ve renamed them from Leveling Tracks to better describe their function in the game, which is tracking your Hero’s XP and Income. We also needed to bump their size a bit and resize the cutouts for the 8mm cube to fit. Level 5 is now marked on the board - it’s the final possible position you can advance your Hero to. We’re pretty much in love with the final result and hope so are you!

After 3 weeks of a steady campaign we reached 170% of funding! Thank you to this fantastic community for believing in us until the end of the campaign. Thank you to our family and friends that jumped to support us on day 1. We cherished every pledge and message or comment you wrote. Boardquest is becoming a reality thanks to you.

Kickstarter has been a success for us. On a personal level, it's challenging to put your creation out there: we did it, and we have succeeded, a rare victory for indie projects. We reached our funding goal within 48 hours and then almost doubled the collected amount by maintaining a steady daily growth. We loved the interactions with our backers (you can still write us anytime!).

Boardquest has always been a long-term project for us and we are committed to seeing it through. The first print of Boardquest is due November this year. Next year we plan to work on producing our first expansion – already fully drafted – that will introduce Undead and Dwarves to the game, add a unit per faction, new items, monster, summons, and snow-covered terrain tiles.

We are yet to see where this journey takes us, but we do hope all of you will tag along.
