Work 2025_1. Here is a Boeing 727-200 scale 1/200 made by IMC Holland. Came in as Delta (late 70 to 90´s scheme, perhaps the best ever) and will stay like that. Missing complete horizontal. Subcomponent reproduced and attached. It will wear new paint and a new set of decals as close to the original as possible.

Work 2024_2. Part of the “What if” series. Here is a Boeing 737-200 scale 1/200 made by Wooster. Came in as British Airways and left hangar as Aviaco 737-200. Boeing apparently delivered one example scale 1/100 to Aviaco execs but Douglas was already in for the DC-9.

Testing new decal printing and using new clear coat. Here is EC-DEG, one of several Douglas DC-10-30s that the company founded in 1959 by Rodolfo Bay operated.

Three years ago I bought this model in a state for total restoration. After designing and printing the decals, painting and doing several tests, it is almost finished except for the final varnishing and the black radome. The base is original, lucky enough the distinctive plate was in very good condition as was the manufacturer's badge on this 1/180.

Excellent training material for upcoming work: Iberia 747 delivery scheme, Iberia A320 latest scheme and a delicate Dassault Mercure.

TMFX does not like restoring or adapting models in which the real one had a tragic end. It is a simple reminder to keep in mind that, no matter how well you are trained to react to different scenarios, no two days will be alike. There are, at least, two variables that will change the outcome of every single action.

Work 2022_001. This 45 year old surely had better life years ago. Not an easy job. Engine number 1 and 1/3 of right wing just attached.

Work 2023_001. A Belplast Milano DC-8-52 Iberia scale 1/100 missing three engines and horizontal with damage. Only one engine and with attached parts "a la Frankenstein."

Four engine made based on the available one plus repaired horizontal. Two side engines with original material plus added material to recreate the real engine.

In process to return material to DC-8 owner.

Work 2021_003. Project is taking longer than expected. After 15 different decal designs tested, today the final one (model 16) added to the fuselage to see how it holds. Not 100% happy with outcome.

They are 100% done from scratch following "Airplast Milano" mindset. Waterslide decal inkjet decal high precision.

Work 2021_003. Sorry for photo quality. They were taken at 1am. Decals almost 100% done from scratch following "Airplast Milano" mindset. Now to make a trial print and test it on demo model. Let´s see how it goes!
