The Foundation is excited to announce that we have expanded our Board of Trustees and created a new Advisory Council.
Following the success of MMF’s ‘Get Involved’ campaign, which encouraged individuals to volunteer their services and expertise, MMF is pleased to announce several new appointments aimed at enhancing on-set safety and wellbeing for all cast and crew, and nurturing the next generation of filmmaking talent.
Three new trustees have been added to the board, expanding it from six to nine members: James Layton, ACO, Assoc. BSC, Camera Operator/Steadicam Operator (Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Silo, The Great); Junior Agyeman-Owusu, ACO, Steadicam Operator (Champion, Meg 2, Inside Man); and Abbi Collins, Stunt Coordinator (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Downton Abbey, Suspect).
MMF has also established a new Advisory Council, comprising nine specialists and experts from across the creative media landscape. This council will provide the trustees with specialised expertise, knowledge, and skills. The members are:
