Surfing is far more than what we see, what we think we know, or what we are used to. Surfing is pure sensation… an invisible language between the ocean and those who dare to listen.

Every wave that rises and fades in the sea is unique, unrepeatable, offering its own nuances and emotions. In the same way, each surfboard design is an interpretation of that energy—a way of communicating with the water.

This idea is born from the essence of the first Alaia boards: finless surfboards, free, moving in harmony with the wave, guided by it as much as they guide themselves. A primitive, pure concept, now reimagined through a contemporary lens.

Here, water flow defines the path. Without the need for fins, the design relies on a flex tail, on channels that direct the water’s release, and on a carefully balanced distribution of volume that brings together control and freedom.

The result is a unidirectional board that invites you to feel the wave in its most natural state—to surf its energy rather than dominate it. A closer, more organic, more authentic experience.

Built at 7’6”, with a 1” solid wood stringer, this board is not just an object—it’s a way of understanding surfing.
