Es imposible replicar a tu perro.
Su mirada. Su expresión. La forma en que te observa y todo el amor que cabe en sus ojos.
Y con hilo de algodón y ganchillo, todavía más.
Pero sí puedo observar sus fotografías, reconocer esa mancha tan suya, la forma de sus orejas o el gesto que lo hace inconfundible… e intentar capturar un poquito de su esencia.
No busco crear una copia exacta. Busco que, cuando lo veas, no pienses simplemente «se parece a un perro».
Me gustaría que puedas pensar: «El mío se parece mucho». 🤎🐾

It’s impossible to replicate your dog.
Their gaze. Their expression. The way they look at you—and all the love held within their eyes.
Especially with yarn and a crochet hook.
But I can carefully study their photographs, notice that special marking, the shape of their ears or the expression that makes them unmistakably theirs… and try to capture a little of their essence.
I don’t aim to create an exact copy. I want you to look at it and not simply think, “It looks like a dog.”
I want you to feel: “That’s my dog.” 🤎🐾
