"Pep Guardiola's fans make excuses, saying Julian Alvarez wanted to leave Manchester City, just like they claimed Cole Palmer did. However, I believe Pep's decisions led to their departures. Alvarez's situation is particularly puzzling, as he wasn't given the playing time he deserved, despite his exceptional quality and success alongside Erling Haaland.
Imagine being invited to a party and treated like an uninvited guest - wouldn't you leave? Alvarez had to decide and leave, not because he disliked the club, but because Pep didn't give him the opportunities he deserved. A player of Alvarez's caliber should start in big games, not sit on the bench.
Alvarez played well alongside Haaland and excelled in the attacking midfield role. He should have replaced Kevin De Bruyne, but instead, Phil Foden filled the role and has been underwhelming. Last season, Alvarez impressively shouldered responsibilities when De Bruyne was absent, but the praise went to Foden, which was unjust.
Foden's limitations have been exposed this season, and it's clear he's not as effective as Alvarez. Foden has been below average since his debut, but all that were covered by his teammates' brilliance. This season has revealed his true form.
Yes, players are to respect the coach decision but coach also field good players who demands for the playing time because this players deliver 99 percent of the time and that is true of Cole Palmer, Alvarez and Cancelo because they delivered and we can't deny that.
Each time I say "pep out" many will say to me "because of one bad season" I want Pep to leave" this team's poor season is a result of Pep's arrogance and questionable decisions, such as letting João Cancelo to leave to accommodate Rico Lewis, masterminding Alvarez and Cole Palmer decision to leave. With these players, Manchester City would definitely win their fifth consecutive Premier League title.
I am saying all this because I am concerned about my sweet club Manchester City and also because we are already at risk of losing Echeverri since Pep would rather continue with Foden instead of the Argentine wizard.
I'm just scared that the future is not bright as long as still remains at the club.
