Prepare to Be Provoked and Moved
Step into the riveting world of Doubt: A Parable, the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by John Patrick Shanley that crackles with tension, wit, and moral twists. Set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, this masterfully crafted play pits certainty against ambiguity, tradition against change, and conviction against compassion.
With razor-sharp dialogue and unforgettable characters, Doubt invites audiences to wrestle with their own beliefs in a story that’s as timely today as ever. This is theatre that doesn’t just entertain—it challenges, inspires and stays with you long after the curtain falls.
Meet the play’s Director: Tony Kitlinsky
Tony has devoted 46 years to the theatre as a teacher, director, actor and singer. Born in Valencia, Spain. Tony lived in Germany and the USA and has finally returned to his native Spain. This is his first play for Javea Players and he considers directing Doubt to be a career pinnacle—an artistic milestone that many directors aspire to reach.
