A long established artist on the Ibiza scene Sarah Main is musically talented, technically savvy and still filling the island with her hypnotic house sounds as she enters into her 17th summer season. Spending the majority of her years in Ibiza manning the Pacha main room dj box, Sarah is now the curator of her own parties across Ibiza and the globe. Her career has seen her tour continuously around

the world to all the major festivals including Tomorrowland, Rock in Rio, Creamfields, Dance Valley, The Techno Parade Paris and to play in the worlds top clubs such as Warung, Zouk, Pacha Buenos Aires, Ministry of Sound, Sirena, XS, Queen club and Sankeys Manchester. She also was a long standing guest at Space Ibiza and held a 2 year residency at Ushuaia Ibiza. Taking out the coveted best Ibiza DJ award at the Dj awards in 2006 sarah has also been cited by Frankie Knuckles as his favourite female DJ and also by Pete Tong and Erick Morillo as their favourite warm up DJ. Her MAINroom show was a heard on over 30 FM stations worldwide and was the first electronic music show to be commissioned by Emirates for their inflight service. She also has a weekly show, ‘Mobile Disco’, on Ibiza’s flagship radio station, Ibiza Global radio. As a producer her tracks can be found on Pacha Recordings, Heatflow, Blue Dye, Soulful Legends, Society 3.0, classic house label Azuli recordings and her own MAINroom records imprint

Many of you know me as a DJ, but what you might not know is that my creative journey actually began in the visual arts.

I studied fine arts at university, and when I first started DJing, I took a diploma in digital art and animation to appease my family, who weren’t exactly thrilled about me dropping out of art school to pursue music. I passed with flying colors and was even offered a job straight away, but I politely declined. I was knee-deep in the house music scene of the early ’90s, and honestly, nothing could compete with that energy.

Throughout my DJ career, I continued painting as a form of release and creative expression, never imagining it would become my main focus. But here’s the beautiful thing about creative paths, they have a way of converging when you least expect it.
Today, I’m bringing all my creative worlds together.

The piece you see here was born as a painting, which I then transformed into an animated experience with music. It’s literally decades of creativity colliding, my physical art, digital art background, and music career all in one immersive piece.

The most exciting part? I’m releasing this as a limited edition canvas print with augmented reality. When you point your smartphone at the canvas, it comes to life with this animation.

It’s art you can see, hear, and experience.

Over half have already found homes, with only a few remaining. I’m sharing this here in case it speaks to you, because this project represents everything I am as an artist, and I couldn’t be more proud of where this journey has taken me.

Year four at Miami Art Week.

This time, my artwork lived inside The Goodtime Hotel, physical paintings, live painting during the pool parties, and hidden augmented reality layers embedded in the work, waiting to be discovered.

Beyond the hotel, I DJed with Barbara Tucker at M2 with Nolcha Shows and closed at Bit Basel at The Sagamore for the Kings Exhibition, presented by Dr Glenn Toby and featuring works by Jean-Michel Basquiat.

At SCOPE, I was part of the launch of Bellwether Arts, where we introduced AR collectible cards and activated one of the busiest booths at the fair, hands-on, participatory, and constantly in motion.

To ground the intensity, Natalie Lauraine held space each morning with her concept, The Joy Room, breathwork and meditation before the city fully switched on.

Met some amazing people and got some awesome stuff lined up for 26’.
