New work: an illustrated invite for the Community Retreat in Suffolk hosted by .

The aim was to create something quietly inviting with a stripped back artwork that mirrors the calm, reflective tone of the retreat. Essential info only. No frills.

“The Art of Slowing Down. A reset centred around presence steady pace and the moments that actually let you switch off.”

Spent the last week of September in LA with two of my closest pals - and to remember the time spent together, I illustrated a picture of their home as a parting gift.

It’s true what they say: a home is so much more than four walls. Their space is full of heart, memories, and the kind of warmth that stays with you long after you leave.

Love you guys, miss you already 🤍

People ask me what my art is about and I never know what to say. It’s about everything really. From the memories and ideas that swim around my head to the little daily things I notice. A mark becomes a shape,
a shape becomes a memory. A loop of thought caught in ink. They’re not plans. They’re not messages.
They’re what ever you want them to be. An open book to be read, and reread.

‘Build bridges not walls’ was a drawing from my collection entitled, Wilt Fall Root Grow. At that time, I was moving through a period of self-discovery and learning to navigate the boundaries that naturally come with adulthood. Like many of us, I was seeking balance, between protection and openness, between what to hold close and what to let in.

This collection became a visual journal, drawing inspiration from gardens and greenhouses; the places where I often find stillness amid the movement of daily life.

I haven’t produced a large body of work for some time but lately I’ve felt an energy that feels like the beginning of a new chapter. I want to lean into that feeling and see where it might grow.

Moving house is a right pain, but you do end up finding a load of stuff from the past that you didn’t expect to find.

Here’s a wee drawing I found from lockdown; I’m kinda into it.

Where the magic happens 🪄 ✨

*the kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of any home. It’s a place where family, friends and love ones come together to share meals and make memories. I’m forever thankful for all the memories we’ve made in our little London kitchen 🙏🏻
