Exciting news! 🇵🇹 Our short film “Ode Sea Us” is heading to Portugal for the Val de Vinos film festival! Valdevinos is a Portuguese theater and arts organization dedicated to preserving and elevating the art of puppetry, masks, and visual storytelling, a festival dedicated to bringing myths, handmade craftsmanship, and theatrical magic to life on screen and stage. 🎭✨

“Ode Sea Us” brings to life the ancient legend of Es Vedrà, sirens, and Odysseus through a unique blend of artistic sea swimming, drone cinematography, mask-making, and spoken word poetry.
Created in collaboration with Joanna Hruby, featuring poetic spoken word by and Martin Silva Monzon as Odysseus.

This isn’t just about water. It’s about life, rebirth, and our sacred connection to the mother who births us anew. 🌊
The Balearic Sea is a sanctuary, but its soul, the ancient Posidonia meadows, is under threat. The very clarity that connects us to her beauty is the work of a life-giving system we must protect. Every action matters. Every moment of care matters.
When we look into this water, we look into ourselves. Protect her, celebrate her, and act with love. Because her future is our future. 💙✨

Esto no es solo agua. Se trata de vida, de renacer y de nuestra conexión sagrada con la madre que nos da a luz de nuevo. 🌊
El mar Balear es un santuario, pero su alma , las milenarias praderas de Posidonia, está amenazada. La misma claridad que nos conecta con su belleza es el trabajo de un sistema generador de vida que debemos proteger. Cada acción cuenta. Cada gesto de cuidado importa.
Cuando miramos dentro de esta agua, nos miramos a nosotros mismos. Protégela, celébrala y actúa con amor. Porque su futuro es nuestro futuro. 💙✨

“Waves upon waves…” Every crashing tide carries a reminder of the delicate balance between humanity and the marine world. Moving along the coastal fringe, our footprints in the sand are fleeting, but our impact on the ocean endures. Through aerial cinematography, we bring awareness to the urgent need for marine stewardship, protecting Mediterranean coastlines, Posidonia meadows, and fragile aquatic habitats. Every conscious choice ripples across the deep.

“Olas tras olas…” Cada marea rompiendo nos recuerda el delicado equilibrio entre la humanidad y el mundo marino. A lo largo de la franja costera, nuestras huellas en la arena son efímeras, pero nuestro impacto en el océano perdura. A través de la cinematografía aérea, buscamos concienciar sobre la urgente necesidad de cuidar el mar: protegiendo el litoral mediterráneo, las praderas de Posidonia y sus frágiles hábitats acuáticos. Cada decisión consciente genera un impulso que resuena en lo más profundo.

Meadows of the Sea 🌊

Beneath the surface of our Mediterranean waters lie vast, ancient meadows of Posidonia oceanica. Often called the lungs of the sea, these underwater forests filter our waters, protect our shorelines, and produce the very air we breathe on this island.

This triptych is a tribute to that silent, living world, a delicate balance captured in three interconnected frames.

We’ve taken our festival selected films and transformed them into a fully immersive, 360 degree sensory sanctuary. Projected onto custom layered fabrics, our Underwater Cinema Experience creates an organic, fluid world where you can literally walk into the art.
Perfect as a pop-up chill-out space or a deep-relaxation oasis for festivals, cultural gatherings, and private events. Fully custom built on-site by our team and adaptable to any space (with or without ambient soundscapes!).

In June, we had the incredible experience of showcasing our work in a spectacular new setting: the W Ibiza hotel. ✨

Presented by our friends at the wonderful olasgallery, the exhibition included our fine art prints, video art projections, short films, and our new immersive “Underwater Cinema.”

Visitors also had the pleasure of witnessing a stunning performance by the Annabelle Widmann ensemble.
The piece, “Entangled” (performed by Cristina Gonzalez Hoyos), featured the wearable art costume projected with original footage from Aguascopio’s film of the same name, where we originally brought the costume into the sea. Accompanying this surreal sequence was live poetry by Christiana Rigaud 🇳🇱 & 🇵🇹 made specifically for this event and classical guitar by MAR SANCHEZ.

Thank you to these three extraordinary performers, and to diVISION Innovación Visual for their flawless projection work!

The three of us at Aguascopio (Tasya Menaker, Liz Kueneke, and Annabelle Widmann) want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who came out to support us. Todavía estamos emocionados después de la proyección de anoche de nuestro cortometraje “Shadows of Time” en la Plaça del Parque!

Gracias por compartir con nosotros ese momento de meditación para contemplar la belleza y la fragilidad del mar Balear. Estamos muy agradecidos al y a por invitarnos y por unir a la isla a través de la esperanza y la creatividad. Y un agradecimiento enorme a todos los amigos que vinieron a apoyarnos!

Mención especial para por la increíble música ambiental que creó para nuestro corto. Eres una gran inspiración para nosotros!
