Celebramos el Día Mundial de la Narración Oral: El 20M.

⛏️ Este año los miembros de AEDA (Asociación de Profesionales de la Narración Oral en España) que viven en Asturias, vamos a celebrar el 20M en un lugar único y lleno de memorias: el Museo de la Minería ⛏️

Te invitamos a una sesión especial de narración oral para personas adultas, con voces imprescindibles de la escena de la narración oral en Asturias

In Asturias we’re celebrating World storytelling Day in the Museum of Mining. We won’t be going down a coal mine though

Nos hace mucha ilusión que la 𝐀𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨́𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨́𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐧̃𝐚 (AEDA) nos haya escogido para celebrar este año el Día Mundial de la Narración Oral, el viernes 20 de marzo.

Ese día, a las 18:30 horas, podremos disfrutar en el museo de una sesión de narración oral para personas adultas, de la mano de cuentos y cuentistas muy especiales.

La entrada es libre hasta completar aforo. ¡Os esperamos en el museo!

Arte y Discapacidad en el Jardín Botánico Atlántico de Gijón.

🪾 Bajo la sombra de un tejo centenario, el cuento “Por qué los árboles dejaron de hablar con los seres humanos” fue la semilla que inspiró el taller “La Voz de los Árboles”.

🎨 Fue un punto de encuentro entre arte, naturaleza y la magia de los cuentos para nueve personas con discapacidad: una experiencia colectiva que buscó transformar el final de esta historia popular a través de la creatividad.

🧶 Creamos palos mágicos con ramas y lanas de colores, cargados de intenciones positivas para el bienestar del arbolado.

🪾 Terminamos colgando nuestras obras en el tejo, como un gesto de conexión y cuidado hacia toda la comunidad arbórea.

💜 Fue una mañana perfecta para reconectar con la naturaleza y cocrear un futuro más armónico entre las personas y los árboles.

Celebrating Burn’s night with stories ‘To a Mouse’

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 The opening night of my new show “The 4 Seasons” was on Burn’s night.

🐭 We accompanied a wee mouse on his colourful adventures through the 4 seasons

🌈 We saw how rainbows are formed
🌊 We discovered why the sea is salty
🌰 We grew into chestnuts trees
❄️ We danced with snowflakes

📚 Thanks to all who came to the library in Nava, Asturias on the 30th January.
There are so many magical moments in the year to tell. What a wonderful world ✨💜

Los 8 Colores de la Narración Oral

❄️ He tenido el gran placer de facilitar la formación de invierno para los miembros de AEDA este año.

🌈 Hemos llenado el espacio de colores a través del hilo conductor del proyecto “Oral Storytelling in 8 Colours”, un proyecto de FEST.

👣 Hemos explorado nuestros caminos en el mundo de los cuentos para llegar a ser profesionales de la narración oral.

💪🏿 Hemos reflexionado sobre dónde y cómo estamos, y sobre qué competencias nos gustaría desarrollar más.

🔮 Y hemos dedicado tiempo a nuestro camino profesional hacia el futuro.

🍏 Todo esto con sabor y olor a cuentos, con risas, con creatividad y con colores.

💫 Disfruté mucho escuchando las historias y vivencias de mis compañero/as.

💜 Estoy muy contenta de formar parte de AEDA, la Asociación de Profesionales de la Narración Oral en España.

In Memory of Scotty 🐕

🌈 A woman opened her eyes and was shocked to find she was dead! But there, coming over the rainbow bridge was her little dog that had died years before.

🐕 He was so full of life and his little tail couldn’t stop wagging. She soon forgot all about being dead and they set off for a long walk, just like old times…

📖 Soon they came across a big, pearly gate and there was St. Peter with his book waiting to welcome her to Heaven!

⛔️ She picked up her little dog to go through the gates … and that' when she saw the sign "no dogs allowed!" She was devastated and said "well if we can’t go in together, heaven is not for me" and they continued on their way.

💧After a while she was concerned about finding water for her faithful friend. She saw an old, rusty gate and knocked on the door and someone said
"How can I help you?"
" You need some water for your dog? Please come in, you have come to the right place."

💜 The door opened to a beautiful place full of people and animals living in peace and harmony… "I don’t understand, where are we?"
"This is Paradise, you’re welcome to stay. Oh, and that other place with the fancy gates... that’s Hell… its just there to make sure that everyone on the right road to Heaven gets here..."

🐕 Scotty thanks for all these wonderful years together, for the walks, the company, the hugs. I miss you.

🌈 Looking forward to seeing you on the rainbow bridge one day and continuing our adventures together ✨💫💜

Tales for Palestine in Asturias

🇵🇸 This Friday, I'll be sharing "Tales for Palestine" with children in rural schools in Asturias.

🐝 We'll start with "Free the Bee"—a powerful story created by nine-year-old Mena from Palestine. Through the eyes of a little bee trapped by an angry neighbour, we explore the deeper meaning of freedom.

🥘 Next is "Tunjur! Tunjur! Tunjur!"—a vibrant Palestinian folktale where a woman’s only child is a mischievous little pot.

🐒 Then, there's "Milk is Milk and Water is Water", where a cheeky monkey helps us understand the unbreakable spirit of the Palestinian people.

🫒 I'm also crafting a little hand song about olive trees and their fate—a tribute to resilience and hope.

🕊️ Finally, inspired by the flocks of migrating birds which soar over this land, I'll tell the "Bird of Freedom", inviting every listener to dream of freedom for the Palestinian people.

✨ How about you? What stories do you tell children about Palestine? Through stories, we can keep the voices of the Palestinian people alive. 🌱

🐳 In this interactive story workshop, we dive deep into the symbolism of the Inuit creation myth Sedna, to see what is waiting to be revealed in the depths of the ocean.

🧜‍♀️ Sedna, the goddess of the sea and marine animals in Inuit mythology, is known as the "Mother of the Sea" and it said to control the supply of sea animals, which are essential for the survival of the Inuit people.

🌊 As we swim alongside Sedna in her watery world, we will discover how this myth of creation resonates with us in these uncertain times and connects us to the future of the oceans of the world.

🌙 We will also take into consideration the planetary configuration of the dwarf planet Sedna and do a new Moon ritual to seed our dreams for 2026.

🔥 Stories have been with us since the very beginning of humanity when we gathered around the fire to listen to myths of creation to connect us with our inner selves, our clan and the universe.
