Taking advantage of the afternoons, creating from a place of calm and working on pieces for the new collection. ♥️

July has been a very productive month.

The students are gaining more experience, and their pieces are incredible.

We’ve also been lucky to have , who has filled the workshop and my home with color and positive energy.

The Kristen bowl, Heart tray, and Infinity tray pieces are inspired by her, because we love each other from infinity to beyond.

At Mella Heartmade, we work with many types of high-fire clay.

We experiment with colors and textures, from the finest and smoothest to the most rustic, using grog.

It’s wonderful to be able to play with colors and see how they interact with different types of clay.

Los talleres de Junio han sido muy especiales. Los alumnos nuevos empiezan a tener más experiencia y sus piezas casas vez, son más profesiones e imperfectas. ¡Qué orgullosa estoy de todos ellos!
Por cierto, Julio ha empezado con muchas ideas nuevas y piezas increíbles.

Siempre me gusta regalar más que recibir regalos.
Creo que sin lugar a dudas he regalado más piezas de cerámica que las que he vendido.
