You can laser all you want, my eyes are still the best measure. 👁️‍🗨️📏

Another week in our favourite project in Hamburg. Here are a mix of some photographs taken with my camera and some mid installation phone snaps of trying and testing with my wonderful Mona. We rehung lots of artworks as they’ve returned from being on loan for a museum exhibition. Rooms are taking shape.

We were fortunate to spend some quality time with our lovely supportive clients who thankfully go with most of my mad ideas.

We received new pieces from our Attica Collection made in lacquer. Each design found a spot and they look great.

For the dining area we used our Raphael Sienna from our natural pigment paint collection with and the dressing room has just been covered in bright green moiré silk, which serves as a great backdrop for all the spectacular portraits.

Not long now and we will be adding our Drapery Cornice which is in the making, our Michelangelo Ivory wall colour is going in the bedroom and the Masaccio Indigo will suffice a dramatic entrance room. Can’t wait!!

Hope you enjoy these images.

Going through some old images of my Drapery Collection and how we’ve placed them. It’s so lovely that people are still discovering these designs and are interested in them. What a journey.

Currently I can’t afford stock but they are made to order within two weeks from our wonderful craftsman in Hamburg.

Made especially to hold sculptures they can pack a punch- maximum weight up to 30 kilos.

The shiny fabric I’ve used to maximise the drapery later became my dress for my Surrealist Ball Birthday party as seen in the last photo 💖.

A few more images of the progress of our Hamburg penthouse project.

The bespoke carved wood drapery console looks like an artificially generated image but it’s not 💥 Handcarved by our amazing craftsman Oliver who we worked with on the Drapery Collection. The collection is currently being extended by a Drapery cornice which we will soon launch and will be be included in the bedroom of our Hamburg project.

The last picture is the current mood board for the bedroom with an early 18th century tapestry inspired fabric, said cornice, our Heroldian Tassel and a beautiful blue raw silk for the bed.

Stay tuned.

Hamburg project update! So happy with how things are coming together. There are numerous artworks that have arrived and oh the difference they make ✨

We’ve painted a wall in our natural pigment wall colour Raphael Sienna ( ) as a backdrop for ‘s Pamplona Cabinet referencing imagery of the Pamplona bible dating to around 1200 AD. On this unique piece of furniture we placed the magnificent 16th century carving of Adam and Eve which we spotted at TEFAF last year.

Our Attica Collection has moved in- possibly the most exciting placement is the wave plinth in the pool area with a ceramic sculpture by 🧡

More to come :-)

A few Heroldian Townhouse 2026 moments. I’ve been travelling a lot but I savour these moments spent here shared with lovely people by the fire.

It’s April; temperatures are getting warmer and simultaneously the island is getting busier.

Thankful for it all, never taken a minute here for granted. One more busy week in Felanitx before we head to Milan and then to our project in Hamburg.

Gracias 🙋🏻‍♀️❣️🏩

A moment in time: The small Palma apartment I stayed in for a moment and couldn’t resist but to make it a bit Heroldian. I threw some antique linen embroidered sheets over the sofa and added some of Amanda’s cushions. I hung an Old Master drawing of putti in flight with a carved head of a putto over it, I added one of our Draped Brackets, a hand painted 18th century linen fragment with a decorative border and a carved mirror by Vicente. I added paintings by Vera and watercolours by Max. I painted the rooms in our Heroldian Art x natural pigment wall colours. I covered the walls in Michelangelo Ivory and used Botticelli lilac for some decorative elements such as the border around the hand painted horse wall hanging.

It really wasn’t much but it changed the whole feel of the place and how I felt in it.

Our natural pigment wall colours are very warm and lovely to use in any environment. We are currently using some in our penthouse project and they bring movement and softness to the linear architecture.

A post celebrating our Celestial Pagoda which came to life after editor and owner of called me to ask if I could design something to showcase my selection of favourite fabrics.

I was in México and I had already sketched the design before the phone call came in, so I was excited to bring the idea to life.

Several visits to the amazing craftsman and artist who has his studio down the road from our Heroldian Townhouse and creative sessions with to imagine the swags and tassels and draped fabric.

It’s a round tent structure that can be separated in two halves to adorn a doorway or a bed, it can be used as a changing room, a kissing booth, a magical hiding place or whatever else you might imagine.

Made to order. #🎪

„Love a drill!” 😂 Another week spent in Hamburg: productive days in our project, visiting the craftsman in his workshop, unpacking gigantic boxes, Hermann checking on his ceramic Lohengrin, Mona ruling the hanseatic streets, me and my drill and last but not least some wonderful moments with the fam ❣️

Back to 🇬🇧 for exciting meetings before some sun and island time.

Probably the most complex installation Heroldian Art has done to this day: our Lohengrin ceramic courtyard consisting of 479 handmade tiles and a ceramic sculpture group by artist Hermann Grüneberg. The entire installation takes place in an outdoor courtyard stretching over two floors in a private residency.

For our Hamburg project we wanted to create an art installation that felt personal to the owners. As our lovely clients are huge Richard Wagner fans, together with artist Hermann Grüneberg we dreamed up this slightly insane artwork. Hermann chose to depict the scene in Lohengrin where the knight returns to the Holy Grail on a boat drawn by a swan. Elsa, who betrayed her knight, is depicted in a tiled portrait on the wall of the second floor watching over her lover leaving. The inscription reads “Mir schwankt der Boden! Welche Nacht!“

To bring this to life it took several months of work in the studio for Hermann Grüneberg, weeks of preparing the tiles and doing the research of how best to apply them for our installer, days over days gluing the tiles and plenty of lovely manpower to set the sculpture group.

So incredibly grateful to everyone who was a part of this and moreover to our clients who had faith in us going with a slightly bonkers idea….. 🤍
