Hauek, beren txokoa bilatzen ari dira, eredu oso pertsonala ezarriz. Esklusibotasuna da komunean duten ezaugarria. Plataforma honek, T-Festa.org web orriaren eta sare sozialen bitarteko egoitza birtuala izango du. Urtero gertakizun ezberdin bat antolatuko da,
zeinatan artisten eta diseinatzaileen sorkuntzez nahiz jarduera paraleloez gozatu ahal izango den, besteak beste; tailer- hezigarriak, kontzertuak, konferentziak, e.a. Lehenengoa 2012ko ekainan Bilboko Alhondigan izan da. T-festa es una plataforma que pretende descubrir y apoyar a los nuevos talentos en el arte de la “T-SHIRT”. Jóvenes diseñadores y artistas independientes que muestran su trabajo a través de una firma o de pequeños proyectos artísticos satélite. Ellos tratan de hacerse un hueco marcando una pauta muy personal y su rasgo afín es la exclusividad. La plataforma tendrá una sede virtual a través de una web (T-Festa.org) y de las redes sociales. Y de manera anual se organizará un evento donde se podrá disfrutar de las creaciones de estos artistas y diseñadores así como de actividades paralelas: talleres educativos, conciertos, conferencias, etc. La primera edición ha tenido lugar en Junio del 2012 en la
Alhóndiga de Bilbao. T-festa is a platform centered in showing and promoting contemporary art. It is a reflection within the new artistic expressions that reveals a nonconformist and multidisciplinar personality. Its aim is to provide these artists and designers with a platform to show their work in its defferent aspects. We are interested in artists with a multidisciplinary character who consider the T-shirt as a medium of work. Some of them show already their work through a brand or small artistic projects and others just flirt with the possibility of making a T-shirt. We try to find a dialogue between art, fashion and design. The platform has a virtual venue in www.t-festa.org site and the social networks, by means of which it will be able to have a direct and participative communication with the interested public. An event will be organised where one will be able to enjoy the creations of these artists and designers, as well as parallel activities: educational Workshops, concerts and conferences. The first Edition of T-festa Event took place in June 2012 in Alhóndiga Bilbao and it was a real success. Thirty-two artists and designers took part in but we received about one hundred proposals. And the audience participation was great. Of course, the festival will change artists in each edition. T-festa has a pioneering character. It was the first time that such an event took place inside the art context and in our area. Two methods of participation are considered: individual or shared:
Individual participation (t-shirts collection)
It is addressed to creators who have at least one collection developed or have started to create their firm, taking into consideration and appraising the limited edition and exclusive designs of their creations. Shared participation (a t-shirt)
It is addressed to students, designers and artists who have an idea for making a t-shirt. Starting from the t-shirt as medium of work, they can use different techniques, whether they are direct techniques or industrial. T-festa wants to promote and give visibility to the works of local designers with a created collection and others who are still to be created and get to be known. We are interested in discovering as well talented artists from others cities and countries. T-festa has ambition of being an international forum, without forgetting the local sphere. In this way, T-festa is opened to receive and know new proposals through a continuous announcement which emerging artists and designers who work individually or collaboratively will be able to stand for. In short, T-festa is an art and T-shirts platform that works in a constant and processual way; it advances according to the possibilities of the organizing team, learning and developing ourselves with each landmark.
