When I was a young boy in the early 1940s, and our allies, the Russians and Americans, had brought the war with the Nazi's to an end , I would never had thought
that the USA would itself become a fascist regime, with troops shooting people in the streets, imprisoning foreigners, killing catholics from the south, threatening to occupy Europe's arctic north, with never so much as a murmur from its judiciary or critical commentary by its press! And yet - here we are. Dare we thank God for BRICS, or the alliance between Canada and China spreading to Europe? Could Bt be that China is our only hope . . .
