Music Texture

At Bachata Week, your Main Track is only part of the experience.
Alongside the core program, we’re introducing a series of optional Intensives and Creative Labs for dancers who want to go deeper into specific areas of the dance throughout the week.
The Intensives are longer, immersive training sessions focused on topics such as body movement, styling, Dominican structure, and social dance technique.

The Creative Labs are shorter deep dives into musicality, interpretation, creativity and connection, spaces designed to explore not just how to move, but why, when and with what intention.

The first Creative Lab we’re opening is:
Music Texture — Migle & Gero
Many classes teach how to move, but not when to move. This lab explores how to listen for and respond to layers, accents, pauses, and energy changes in bachata music with greater intention and depth.
