Возвращаюсь к работе в мастерской, в планах продолжить серии “Path of abstraction” и
“Nomad”, для Nomad у меня есть одна задумка по формату, но есть ощущение что реальная реализация может отличаться от того как я вижу это у себя в голове, поэтому.будем пробовать... а ещё мне надо переделать сайт, снесла старый, а по новому надо продумать что хочу чтобы отдать программисту, а у меня никак не получается это сделать, хочется то одного, то другого. Такой немного раздрай...

Seven years ago today, I graduated from the Moscow State Academic Institute of Art. I was 31 years old. It was my third degree.
My higher education journey started with marketing at Moscow University of Print. By my second year, I had enrolled in a second program in interior design.
I worked in design and worked with great projects, ran my own business, and had several assistants. But at 26, I realized that I already knew how to work and make money. It was time to do what I had always dreamed of. So I went to art school.
While working on my graduation project, I completely left design behind and devoted myself to art. I saved enough money for a very modest year of living, rented a tiny studio, and started working
Then the pandemic happened, and we all ended up in isolation. I had no idea what to paint. I simply turned off my mind and made
“something”. That’s how my most well-known series, Control Is an Illusion, was born.
When galleries reopened, I took part in my first serious exhibition. I didn’t show paintings.
Instead, I presented a performance and installation project called Burning.
That’s how my life in art began.
A year later, I started organizing exhibitions, and art management became part of my life too.
But that’s a completely different story 💛

In the «Path of Abstraction» series, the paintings are the finished parts of the journey - captured moments, fixed in time. And the installation is the process itself. Together they say the same thing: even what feels complete is only a part.

Our lives are woven from hundreds of imperfect pieces that don’t match - different textures, sizes, shapes. And yet together they create something whole. A composition that is perfect precisely because it isn’t. 💛

В серии «Путь Абстракции» живописные холсты - это завершённые части пути, зафиксированные моменты. А инсталляция - это сам процесс. Они говорят об одном: даже то, что кажется законченным - лишь часть. Наша жизнь соткана из сотен неидеальных кусочков неподходящих друг к другу по текстуре, размеру и форме. А вместе они создают идеальную в своей неидеальности композицию нашей жизни 💛

One of my favorites from the new series
Whenever I start a new series, I get anxious. What if I can’t maintain the quality throughout the whole series?
And when I talk about quality, I don’t mean technique. For me, it’s much more important whether I can carry the idea through every painting. I’m always afraid of losing the idea somewhere along the way.
That fear slows the process down
But this time, preparing for the exhibition gave me the kick in the ass I needed. And I’m glad it did
For the first time in a long while, I genuinely love every piece in this series. And that’s not a very common situation for me 😅🫣

Everything is color.

I am color. You are color. Every object, every event, every feeling - everything is color.

My colors are turquoise and pink.

I still don’t surf, but I simply couldn’t ignore a pink surfboard. It’s pink, after all 💕
