Today I realized I have grey eyes. 33 and I just found out. I always just assumed I had blue eyes as I am Caucasian and blonde; but never actually looked at the colour until now. For so long I just assumed and turned a blind eye. How crazy. My mind is like “WOW” 🤯 it’s a nice experience and an odd experience when you discover something new about yourself that was literally starring you in the face this whole time, while at the same time having to let go of a false belief you carried with you for your whole life. This reminds me of the time I realized I was only 162cm tall when all of my adult life I thought I was 165cm tall. This personal discovery shook me to my core. Never again can I walk around like a 165cm tall human. I lost a tiny bit of myself that day.
