zoomwooz is Karla Kracht & Andrés Beladiez and also the name of their first common project. Karla Kracht & Andrés Beladiez found their own original way of making theatre. Or cinema, animation, Comic... Call it as you like. It is dirty, thought provoking, super flexible in terms of adapting to performance spaces, close to the audience. An unforgettable experience.

Die Welt wird nicht mehr die gleiche sein… Grenzen färben sich wieder rot oder verschwinden komplett. Neue Mauern werden errichtet und alte Ideale begraben. Bürger*innen suchen ihre Identität in Einkaufswägen. Das 21 Jahrhundert ist gekommen und hat uns für immer verändert…

In ihren mehrfach ausgezeichneten transmedialen Performances entwickeln Karla und Andrés eine eigene Sprache, eine eigene Erzählform, in welcher sie bildende Kunst, Illustration, Videobearbeitung und den Klangraum, sowie Computeranimation mit der Animation von Objekten und den Darstellenden Künsten verbinden.

A filmic live theater performance by the artist duo Karla Kracht & Andrés Beladiez from Spain

The world will never be the same again... Borders are turning red again or disappearing completely. New walls are being built and old ideals buried. Citizens are looking for their identity in shopping carts. The 21st century has come and changed us forever...

In their multi-award-winning transmedia performances, Karla and Andrés develop their own language, their own narrative form, in which they combine visual art, illustration, video editing and the sound space, as well as computer animation with the animation of objects and the performing arts.
