Proyecto del artista Jupiterfab en colaboración con varios profesionales y voluntarios del barrio del Poblenou sobre la transición del territorio y de las personas del Poblenou. A nivel humano, el barrio presenta un contraste de habitantes, donde se mezclan por un lado viejos catalanes y españoles inmigrantes que vivieron y trabajaron aquí toda su vida y vieron el barrio pasar por varias épocas y
por otro, gente relativamente joven, profesionales, artistas, diseñadores, padres de familia… que han elegido este barrio para vivir y para instalar su vivienda y su estudio. A nivel territorial, se alternan viejas casas, modernos edificios parte del proyecto “distrito 22@” , hoteles, estudios de artistas y jóvenes profesionales, lofts y enteros edificios derrumbados o que están a punto de caer. The project is about representing the transition of the neighbourhood of Poblenou through the stories of the people and the neighbourhood itself. On the social level, the neighbourhood presents a contrast of inhabitants with a mixture of original Catalan people as well as immigrants who have lived and worked here their entire lives, experiencing changes over time. Other members of society focussed on will be the relatively young such as working professionals, artists, designers and families…people that have chosen to make a life here to live and study. On the urban level, the project will be looking at the image of the neighbourhood where old buildings integrate with the modern, modern architecture part of the project “distrito 22@”, hotels, studios of artists and young professionals, lofts and entire buildings that are dilapidated or abut to be pulled down. El nostre projecte vol mostrar el procés de transformació del barri del Poblenou, a Barcelona, per mitjà de les persones i del territori. A nivell humà, el barri presenta un contrast d’habitants, on es barregen d’una banda antics catalans i immigrants de la resta d’Espanya que van viure i van treballar-hi tota la vida i van veure el barri passar per diverses èpoques i de l’altra, gent relativament jove, professionals, artistes, dissenyadors, pares de família … que han triat aquest barri per viure i per instal · lar el seu habitatge i el seu estudi. A nivell de territori, tenim cases velles, moderns edificis, part del projecte “districte 22 @”, hotels, estudis d’artistes i joves professionals, lofts i edificis completament derruïts o que estan per caure.
