✨ Orientalísimo Company 2026 💜

Directed by 🌟 Brenda, our first Orientalísimo Company brought together dancers from Canada, Argentina, France, Italy and Spain to create something truly special for the festival.

After months of online preparation, they finally met in Tarragona and shared the stage as one, a beautiful example of how dance can connect people across countries and cultures 🌍✨

And now, the journey continues.

🎥 Auditions for Orientalísimo Company 2027 are open!

This new edition will be directed by 🇧🇷 Ariel Khalih, bringing a new artistic vision to the company and a new opportunity for dancers from around the world to live this experience.

💜 Dancers who were part of the 2026 company do not need to audition again if they want to join us for another year.

✨ Valeriia Pakhuta took the stage with a powerful Iraqi dagger dance, performing with two daggers and bringing strength, character, and intensity to her performance at .orientalisimo 2026 Gala Show✨

Valeriia also achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the Master category, in an incredibly close competition that brought her just a step away from earning a place as a teacher at Orientalísimo Weekend 2027. Her level throughout the weekend showed the artistry, dedication, and commitment behind her work 💫

We were especially happy to welcome her alongside her teacher, Julia Yakovyuk, who was also part of our teaching team in 2026.

Congratulations, Valeriia, on such a remarkable edition. It was a pleasure to have you on our stage, and we hope to continue seeing your journey and growth in future editions 💜

Coming from Ukraine 🇺🇦, Ulyana Yakovyuk joined us for the second consecutive year, once again sharing her talent and passion on our stage ✨

Joining us from Canada, Jamilah becomes part of our international team of teachers for this very special 10th Anniversary Edition, where she will share her knowledge and passion through a Baladi workshop ✨

We are also especially happy to keep our connection with the Canadian dance community growing 🇨🇦💫 Canada has been represented at Orientalísimo Weekend over the past few years, and we would love to see even more Canadian dancers joining Jamilah and celebrating with us in Tarragona!
