The Cor Francesc is one with the Catholic church in celebrating one of its central dogmas: the Assumption of Mary.
The assumption of Mary to heaven reminds us that our obedience to Lord's commandments is a response to His grace, leading us to eternal salvation.
As the only human being preserved from the original sin from the moment of her conception, she was assumed into heaven, both body and soul to be exalted by the Lord as Queen of heaven and earth.
The Blessed Virgin Mary remains the easiest and most perfect way of approaching Jesus, and her assumption gives us hope of our own union with God. May we all be inspired to become more closer to God as we offer ourselves through the grace of the sacraments that we receive, and let us pray the rosary to ask for our Blessed Mother to intercede for us for a peaceful and united world.
