El Club Torrenegra participó en las Fiestas del Barrio de la Sagrada Família la semana pasada. Participaron jugadores de todas las edades, profesiones y condiciones sociales: vecinos, familias, colegas y amigos del barrio. El club ratifica su compromiso social con el barrio y reconoce la importancia del ajedrez como herramienta en todos los niveles educativos, además de ser el único deporte que puede unir a todas las personas sin importar su origen, edad, género o creencias. The Torrenegra Chess club participated in the Sagrada Família neighborhood party last week. People from all ages, different jobs and origins, neighbors, families, colleagues and friends from the neighborhood participated. The Torrenegra confirms its compromise with the community and it acknowledges the importance of chess as an educative tool. Moreover, chess is the only sport that can truly unite all people despite their origin, age, gender or beliefs. You can always play against someone with your same level and learn a lot about him/her, doesn't matter if he/she is 5 or 99 years old.
