At Outside Lands’ 2026 SOMA stage this summer, lighting and video shared more than a color palette. A two-way control system let the lighting programmer and video programmer share color and intensity attributes across the lighting rig. Working with cryo is always a blast in the moment, but getting it into a show is complicated for a lot of reasons. The dewars. The hoses. The jets. The local sourcing. The floor space. The noise. The safety considerations.
