IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE, I LIVE HERE.

I had already shared a few images from this project, but it stayed on my mind long after MDW ended and deserved a post of its own.

In collaboration with L’Artisan Parfumeur, antiques dealer Antoine Billore ( ) transformed a charming apartment in the north of the city into an interior that felt both deeply personal and effortlessly refined. Rather than creating a traditional exhibition space, the apartment was conceived as somewhere that could genuinely be lived in.

What struck me most was the dialogue between eras — antiques, vintage furniture, artworks, and objects brought together with such precision that the space felt entirely contemporary without losing any of its warmth or history. Alongside these pieces were the creations designed by Billore himself, seamlessly woven into the setting.

To me, this is one of the most difficult aesthetics to achieve: spaces that feel collected rather than decorated, layered yet restrained, timeless while still feeling modern.
