i'm right here,
in the most beautiful moment of life.
here I am, smiling and alive,
waiting for you to come over.

chirping birds, and harmonious sky.
waves of the ocean's roars,
i wonder why nature's not gonna lie and not being shy,
it speaks through out their cores.

and here we go,
waiting you to get into.
i saw you with a grin,
holding a bouquet of daisies.

young, wild, and free,
looking at your face,
while giving me this coffee.
oh, you're my safest place.

we're dreaming, talking, and laughing.
until the dawn comes.
but suddenly you said,

"i will always here waiting for you, just like how the sun waits for his moon to come up every sunsets."
my heart beats faster like i'm in the race.

we're still waiting until our time and line, will come.

He’s my comet, but I’m his telescope. I need a telescope to see and reach him, but I don’t need one—because he already has me.

"Hailey, I got ya!" Min chuckled, catching me effortlessly in his arms and carrying me bridal style.

I giggled in awe. How fascinating.

We were playing hide-and-seek, and, unluckily, he found me.

I wrapped my arms around his bare neck, facing him. But as his warm breath brushed against my skin, a shiver ran down my spine.

"S-Stop it, Min!" I stammered, feeling nervous.

"Just let me love you, Hailey," he whispered, his tone turning serious. Before I could respond, he kissed me—fervently, unexpectedly, deeply.

---

A Few Days Before Christmas

Christmas was just around the corner, yet my heart pounded with unease. I hadn’t seen Min for three days. He was busy with his career, and the public had no idea about the secret he kept in his heart.

Tears welled in my eyes, but before they could fall, I saw a familiar silhouette in the distance. My heart skipped a beat.

"Min!" I called out, running toward him with open arms.

"Hailey! I missed you! Merry Christmas, my honey!" He pulled me into a tight embrace.

"M-M-Min, I can't b-breathe," I gasped.

"Oh! Sorry, you're so tiny," he teased, ruffling my hair.

"Why do you always mess up my hair?!" I pouted, pretending to be annoyed.

"You asked because?" He smirked before dashing away.

And just like that, we were playing tag again—our little world filled with laughter and love.

---

𝐀 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

For the past few days, nausea, dizziness, and stomach pains tormented me. My breathing felt heavier, my chest ached. What did I eat yesterday? Panic crept in as curiosity and fear warred within me.

I needed answers.

So, I went to the hospital.

"Ms. Hailey Cadren, I have both good and bad news for you," Doctor Lia said, her expression unreadable.

"Start with the good one," I said, forcing a giggle to mask my nerves.

She smiled before delivering the news.

"You're pregnant. Congratulations, Mrs. Joon!" She extended her hand, and I shook it, my heart soaring with happiness.

But then, her excitement dimmed.

"However…" Doctor Lia hesitated, her tone heavy with concern. She reached for my hand and handed me a brown envelope.

I opened it.

The words blurred as my vision swam with unshed tears.

"Doc… is this true? But why?" My voice cracked as despair consumed me.

---

𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫...

"Hailey, please eat this?" Min pleaded, handing me freshly sliced mangoes.

"No, I don’t want it," I pouted.

He smirked and leaned in, planting a quick kiss on my lips.

Here we go again.

"Fine, I'll eat it, okay?" I said, rubbing my swollen belly. "Right, baby?"

Seven months. Our baby was growing strong and healthy. Unlike me.

He was a boy! Our little prince.

But suddenly, pain shot through my abdomen. My stomach clenched, and a gush of fluid trickled down my legs. My chest tightened unbearably.

"Minnnnnn!!" I screamed.

"Oh f***! Easy, honey! I'll get my keys, okay? I got you! I love you! Don’t panic!" He scrambled to grab the car keys.

"Please, hurry!" I sobbed, my body writhing in agony.

---

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐲𝐞

"Min?"

I woke up to the sound of a baby’s cry.

"Hailey?" His voice was soft, almost pleading, as he gently caressed my hair.

"Hmm?"

"Why did you do that?"

"W-What do you mean?"

"Why did you lie to me, Hailey?" His tears fell freely now, his anguish pouring out.

"For years, we lived together. We built a life together. I was the happiest man alive when we had our angel. But why… why did you hide this from me?" His voice cracked. "Why didn't you tell me you had cardiomyopathy?"

I looked away, ashamed.

"Min… I didn't want to worry you. You were always so busy, and—"

My breath caught. My chest tightened. I struggled to breathe.

"Hailey, please! Don’t do this to me! Doctor! Nurse!" He shouted desperately, but I reached for his arm, stopping him.

With the last of my strength, I smiled.

"Let's collide our luck in the universe… next life, my serendipity."

I turned to our baby, my vision blurring, and then back to Min. I kissed his hand one last time.

"Treasure our angel… my serendipity. And I… I will walk my path as your singularity. Hmm?"

Tears streamed down his face as he pressed his lips to mine—our last kiss.

Then, he rested his forehead against mine and whispered, "I'll wait for you… in our universe, my penicillin."

And as his voice trembled, he let out a heartbreaking howl, like a wolf mourning under the moonlight.

I smiled weakly.

"Sorry for being your nightmare, my daydream."

And with that, I closed my eyes.

Hello everyone! Some of my readers questioned me why is it ang dali ko raw makapagpost and mag reveal na daw ko (maskin gamay pa bitaw silang mga readers)? Hihihihi, this is the answer!

Hi! I’m just a girl who loves cats, arts, guitar, songs, words, and chasing dreams—while also surviving the chaotic (yet somehow peaceful?) life of a student. My writing journey started back in 2016 when I was in Grade 7 or Grade 6 ata? Where I became a journalist, news editor, and proofreader. Since Grade 8, I’ve also been an academic commissioner, so yeah, my life has been a cycle of deadlines, commissions, and drowning in notes (literally).

Now in college, I’m still juggling a lot—journalist for The Journey at JHCSC (wow daw hihi), photographer, videographer, a leader, and of course, a student just trying to make it through. But beyond all the hustle and hassle, I’m also a proud daughter of farmers. Life isn’t always easy—sometimes, it means studying with an empty stomach and pretending it's intermittent fasting (HAHA)—but every struggle makes me appreciate the journey even more.

Why am writing so fast or post my pieces and works, because how many years na nakatambak na po sa aking notes, dapat lang na ipalabas! Abangers na lang sa susunod HAHA!

Through it all, writing has always been my safe space. Whether it’s telling stories, capturing moments through my camera, or just scribbling random thoughts in my notebook, I know one thing for sure: passion and perseverance will always lead me to where I need to be.

"Writing isn’t just putting words on paper—it’s capturing moments, emotions, and stories that shape who we are."

I found a white, glowing door,
With a golden k**b that sparkled bright.
My fingers twisted it gently,
And what I saw left me breathless.

A man bathed in peach-hued light,
With lips like roses, cheeks flushed red.
A sculpted nose, lashes curled and long,
His scent—a fragrance rich and deep.

Dressed in elegance, pristine and pure,
He stepped forward, closing the space between us.
He stretched out his hand, his voice like silk—
"Come with me to my world."

Before I knew it, my hand had moved,
Grasping his without a thought.
Once, my world was dark and cold,
Yet this mysterious man brought colors to life.

Soft green grass caressed my feet,
Before me stood a silver château.
Yet something deep inside me whispered—
"What a dreamlike, dazzling place."

Was this a utopia crafted just for me?
I never wanted to wake.
Day was painted in skies of blue,
Night adorned with diamond stars.

"So beautiful! I wish to stay forever!"
"My lady, your time here is fleeting."
A distant clock began to chime.
"Please, don’t take this away from me!"

Euphoria wrapped me in its embrace,
A world that finally felt like home.
Time slipped by like flowing water,
And the joy on my lips never faded.

Adonis, you brought me here,
But why do you let me stay?
"My time is fading, yet I remain."
"My lady, take my hand once more."

"Be mine, my lady."
"And you, my man."
Beneath a sky brushed with rainbows,
We confessed under a cold, silver rain.

We loved, we laughed, we lived—
But why do I hear the ticking clock?
Why do I hear the drip of water?
Why do I hear the sound of weeping?

"My lady, this is our farewell."
"My man, tell me the truth!" I sobbed.
He kissed me beneath the crimson sunset,
"My lady, my life is in your hands."

His eyes, once brilliant, dulled like shattered glass.
Then suddenly, my world turned gray—
"Amethyst? Amethyst! You're awake!"
Tears blurred my sight as voices trembled around me.

"Doctor! Doctor! Please help my daughter!"
I heard my mother cry as she ran outside.
Yet, though he was gone, his voice remained,
A whisper echoing in my soul—

"My lady, my life is already yours."
"My man, thank you for coloring my existence."

Guns and bullets were what I always held. My father, Sevil, trained me to fight. Territory wars and constant battles—this was my life. I had seen the sun rise countless times, yet I had never witnessed where it set.

Blood and gunfire filled my ears and eyes. For ten years, I lived in the only world I knew. For ten years, I was a criminal, a soldier in our faction. Like me, others were trained for war. We were called rebels.

"Theodore, come here," my father commanded.
"You're holding the gun wrong," he said sternly, demonstrating how to maneuver it with precision. His hands moved swiftly, calculated, and firm.

"Get down! Theodore, get down! Stop being so sluggish!" he shouted as we trained in the muddy field.
"You're weak! Aren’t you doing this for your mother?" His eyes burned with intensity.

Rage filled my heart. Anger and hatred consumed me, my ears burning at the memory. My father smirked, satisfied to see the fire in my eyes, the determination in my stance.

𝗧𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿......

A scream echoed in the darkness, piercing through the silence of the secluded jeepney terminal.

"Help! Please, someone help me!" a woman’s desperate voice cried.

I ran toward the sound and saw her cornered by three men.

“We won’t hurt you, Miss… Just give us what we want,” one of them sneered, tracing his fingers along her arm.

Without hesitation, I launched forward—kicking one in the face, punching another in the stomach, and slamming the last one’s head against the wall.

"Are you okay—"

Before I could finish, the woman threw her arms around me.

"T-thank you! If you hadn’t come, I would've—" Her voice trembled before she suddenly pressed her lips against mine.

Stunned, I hesitated, but soon found myself responding.

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿....

"Theodore! I told you, you can’t just go around falling for women! Idiot!" my father’s furious voice boomed.

"Father, please… Accept me and Ria. We love each other," I pleaded, glancing at Ria, who held my hand tightly.

"Don’t come crying to me when you learn the truth," he warned, his voice filled with something cryptic.

"What do you mean? What truth?" Ria asked.

"Whatever it is, I don’t care! I love her!" I grabbed Ria’s hand and ran, determined to escape whatever fate my father spoke of.

𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻....

Ria and I danced under the heavy downpour, laughing as raindrops drenched us.

"We’ve been together for over a year, Theo. Let’s go see your father and apologize," she suggested.

"Alright… I just hope he finally accepts us."

"And after that, you’ll meet my dad. I want to introduce you to him."

"Ah, right! I almost forgot." I chuckled before cupping her face. "I love you so much, Ria." Without warning, I captured her lips in a deep kiss, pouring all my love into it.

With Ria, I had forgotten about revenge. I had forgotten my bloody past. I had even forgotten my mother. Because in loving her, I had found peace.

𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿....

"Are you ready?" Ria asked, fixing my collar. She pressed a soft kiss on my forehead, instantly easing my nerves.

"I’m ready. Let’s do this!" I grinned, revving up my car.

As we pulled up to her house, my breath hitched. The mansion before me was enormous—far beyond anything I had imagined. Despite being together for over a year, I realized I barely knew her background.

"Manang Nina, where’s my father?" Ria asked a maid as we entered.

"Upstairs, waiting for you and your boyfriend."

"See? Even our maids say you’re handsome!" she teased, winking at me.

But as we reached her father’s room, my world shattered.

Shock and horror coursed through me.

"Ria… This must be a dream, right?" I choked out, frozen in place.

But it wasn’t.

Because there, in front of me, Ria stood with a gun pointed at my head.

"Theo! I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long! Your father killed mine! Don’t you remember? I was the little girl—the daughter of the late president. For twenty years, I’ve been planning my revenge!"

I collapsed onto my knees, my body drained of all strength.

"R-Ria… Did you ever love me?" My voice trembled.

"I… I never loved you!" she sobbed. "I was only luring you into my trap!"

"Ria…" My voice barely came out. "My father killed yours because he… he r***d my mother. And I was the result of that crime. I was born a sinner.

I may have inherited his sins… but I truly loved you.

And now, I realize… we're blood-related."

Tears streamed down my face. I took a shaky breath before positioning myself in front of her gun.

"End it, Ria. I deserve this. I’m sorry for everything. But know this—I loved you. More than anything."

Her grip tightened. Her eyes swam with agony.

Then, the gunshot rang out.

ngunit bakit sila’y tahimik?

Paulit-ulit kong itinatanong—

At ngayon,
naubos na ang buhangin
sa ating talaorasan.

Lately, I’ve been learning the beauty of silence. I’ve chosen to keep the chaos of my wild little world to myself, answering prying questions with nothing more than a smile or a shrug. I clap for others without expecting applause in return, celebrate their victories while keeping mine quietly tucked away.

I’m learning to find peace in walking my own path, untouched by the weight of others’ opinions. To measure my success not by how many people know about it, but by the depth of my own fulfillment. To understand that recognition is optional, but winning the battle itself is the real reward. The world doesn’t need to know—because whether it does or not, I know. And the heavens do, too.

Lately, I’ve been keeping my journey private, sitting in quiet gratitude for all that is unfolding and patient for all that is yet to come. And I must say, ever since I chose silence, life has never felt more peaceful.

06/03/2025

My flesh arose only to drift aimlessly, though I could still sense the rigid surface beneath me. For quite some time, I could never truly feel anything. My shell was too thick to embrace the world. My lips refused to part—I could neither swallow nor breathe. My consciousness must have been lingering somewhere, yet everything around me was slowly fading into nothingness.

Then, suddenly—panic-stricken—my soul trembled violently, as if startled by some unseen force. Engulfed in obscure pain and torment, I lifted my spirit. As I pressed forward into my unnerving, long-term struggle, something lodged within me like gravel. And then, through the haze, a pale light emerged. It remained still, piercing through districts and borders alike. I stared at it for what felt like an eternity, and slowly, its form became transparent. That was the ray.

The world had been overturned so drastically that my head spun forward. The moon itself had irrevocably changed. I gasped desperately for air, but nothing came. Then, out of nowhere, an icy gust of wind erupted. Terror seized me. I tried to part my lips to speak, but no sound emerged. I didn’t nod. I didn’t move. Darkness engulfed me.

As my perception slipped away, someone spoke to me.

"To live will be far more agonizing than to starve to death. Yet, do you still wish to hunt?

𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗘: 𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗜𝗥

"Tina, huwag kang malikot. Ipipinta kita."

"Ayaw ko! Pangit na nga ako, kalbo pa!" pabiro kong sagot.

Napatawa siya. "Malalagpasan natin ‘to, Rica."

Rica.

Nanlaki ang mata ko.

"Ano?! Sino ‘yan?! May iba ka?!" sigaw ko.

"A-ah, Tina pala—"

Napatingin ako sa kanya, at dahan-dahang bumulong.

"Maria Teodorica Sevilla y Consolaciòn."

Nanigas siya.

"T-Tina? Ano ‘yon? Bakit mo alam ‘yon?"

"Crisanto! Bumangon ka diyan!" humihikbi kong tawa.

"R-Rica…" paos niyang bulong. "Ikaw ang aking lirika sa musika. Ikaw ang brotsa sa aking pinta. Kaya… maaari ba kitang hilingin sa huling sayaw?"

Hindi ko na napigilan ang pagpatak ng luha ko.

"Tinatanggap ko, aking ginoo," bulong ko, bago dahan-dahang yumuko upang halikan siya sa labi.

Ngunit sa mismong sandaling iyon, ang lahat ay naging puti.

---

Nagising ako sa hagulgol ni Asterio.

"Tina! Salamat sa Diyos! Akala ko mawawala ka na!"

"A-anong nangyari?"

"Nacollapse ka… a-at…" naputol ang boses niya.

"Ano? Sabihin mo na!"

"Tina, may… may stage 3 brain cancer ka."

Nanlumo ako. Napatawa kahit may luhang dumadaloy sa pisngi ko.

"Buhay pa ako, oh?"

Ngumiti siya, ngunit bakas sa kanyang mata ang takot.
