Broken not once, but twice. Restored with gold, both times. 🔴✨

This is Kintsugi Ferrari Red – a one-of-a-kind piece from my Egg Vessels Collection.

Inspired by the raw energy of abstract expressionism and the soul of classic automobiles, this vessel lived a life of its own. After an accident, it could have been discarded. Instead, it was fully restored using the ancient Japanese technique of Kintsugi – where cracks are filled with carat gold.

That first restoration gave it new meaning: the beauty of imperfection, the dignity of scars.

But this piece has a rare story. It was restored twice. Each break, each repair added another layer of history, soul, and quiet power. The gold veins you see today are not just repairs – they are chapters.

This is not a vessel that hides its past. It wears it with pride.

34cm x 26cm x 26cm. Hand-painted in carat gold. Completed in 2020. Still alive. Still speaking.

Kintsugi Ferrari Red – because what breaks us can make us more beautiful.

You may have seen these vessels before. But not like this. 🔴🥚

The Ferrari Red Egg Vessels have existed for some time – but this spring, for the very first time, they were presented as a complete collection here in Norway.

Together. In full voice. Unapologetic.

Crafted in porcelain. Bathed in a red that demands attention. The egg form represents eternal life, origin, cosmic potential. In Ferrari Red, it becomes fire. Drive. The artist's pulse.

No platinum. No earth tones. Just red – powerful, precise, declared.

This was their Norwegian debut as a collection. And now, after the exhibition, they continue their journey – together.

Red is not a colour. It is a statement. 🔴🥚

Introducing the Ferrari Red Egg Vessels – a new chapter within my ongoing egg vessel universe.

While the Universe Egg Vessels shimmer with carat gold, and the Obvara collection speaks in earth and smoke – the Ferrari Red vessels burn with a different energy. Passion. Power. Precision.

Crafted in porcelain. Bathed in a red that demands attention. Unapologetic. Bold.

The egg form represents eternal life, origin, cosmic potential. But in Ferrari Red? It represents fire. Drive. The artist's pulse.

Because art has a responsibility not only to question – but also to feel. To declare. To be seen.

Watch the video. Let the red move you.

The split second. 🔥🥚

This is the Obvara Egg Vessels collection – 9 pieces in total, divided into three collections (I, II, III) of three vessels each.

Obvara, also known as "Baltic Raku," is an ancient Eastern European technique dating back to the 12th century. The process: heat the vessel, dip it into a fermented flour mixture, then rapidly cool it. In that split second – steam, reaction, alchemy – organic patterns are sealed into the clay forever.

No two vessels are the same. The markings cannot be planned or repeated.

Using local Baltic clay and traditional methods spanning several days of firing, each piece carries the cultural heritage of the region. Imperfect. Impermanent. Beautiful.

Watch the video. Focus on the textures. Every mark is a captured moment – a split second frozen in clay.

The exhibition at Ringebu Stavkirke is over. These 9 vessels remain. Unrepeatable. Alive.

Look closer. ✨

Here is the entire Universe Egg Vessels Collection – seven vessels, years of work, and a journey that is still unfolding.

Created at Franz Collection in Jingdezhen, China. Painted over years in Norway. Hand-applied carat gold and platinum, vessel by vessel, slowly, patiently.

The two smallest pieces are finally receiving their gilding – but the work continues even now. This collection is not finished. It breathes. It evolves.

Art has a responsibility to mirror society critically – to question, to materialise visions, to give form to the intangible.

These vessels embody that responsibility.

The exhibition is over. The painting continues. 🥚✨

Seven vessels. Conceived at Meissen (2017). Created at Franz Collection in Jingdezhen, China. Painted over years in Norway – and still ongoing today.

The two smallest pieces are finally receiving their carat gold and platinum. But this collection will never be truly "finished." It breathes. It evolves. It embraces impermanence.

Through these vessels: eternal life, cosmic potential, and humanity's fragile ambition.

They stood in Ringebu Stavkirke. Now they are home – still being transformed.

Art mirrors society. Art questions. Art takes time.

The exhibition at Ringebu Stavkirke showed a moment in an ongoing story. 🕯️

What visitors saw:

· The Universe Egg Vessels Collection – seven porcelain forms created at Franz Collection in Jingdezhen, China, painted over years in Norway
· The two smallest pieces, still being completed
· The announcement of Obvara Egg Vessels I, II, III – three collections of three pieces each, fired using the ancient Baltic Raku technique

But what the exhibition could not show was the future.

Because even now – after deinstallation, after the gallery doors closed – I am still goindg to continue painting. The gold and platinum are still being applied. The work is not finished. It may never be, in the traditional sense.

"Through these vessels, I seek to honor the universe’s beauty while critically reflecting on humanity’s ambition, fragility, and responsibility in the face of the unknown."

The exhibition is over. The collection is alive. And still changing.

Some works take years. These have taken almost a decade. 🖌️✨

The Idea of Universe Egg Vessels were first conceived at Meissen in 2017 and later fiscally
their forms were created at Franz Collection in Jingdezhen, China. Then they came home with me to Norway – and the real work began.

Over the years, vessel by vessel, I have been painting them with carat gold and platinum. The two smallest pieces are being completed now, in 2026. But even as I write this, the work is still ongoing.

Why so long?

Because this collection is rooted in my philosophy of "creating something out of nothing" – a non-waste mindset, balanced production, and the moral responsibility to produce Good and Quality Art.

Art does not rush. Art questions. Art reflects the artist's soul and mirrors society critically.

The exhibition at Ringebu Stavkirke has ended. My brush has not.

The Universe Egg Vessels Collection carries two souls: one from China, one from Norway. 🥚🌏

The concept was born during my Meissen Art Residency in 2017 – but the body of work was created at Franz Collection in Jingdezhen, the ancient porcelain capital of the world.

From there, these seven vessels traveled to Norway. And for years – up to this very day – I have been painting them in turns, slowly, carefully, by hand, with carat gold and platinum. The work is still ongoing.

The two smallest pieces, long left as plain porcelain, are finally receiving their gilding. But even now, the collection is not "finished" in a traditional sense. It breathes. It evolves. It reflects impermanence itself.

These vessels stood inside Ringebu Prestegard Ringebu Stavkirke during Påskeutstillingen. Now the exhibition is over. But the painting continues.
