Not many photos of me from the IAC Congress exist, but this is one of the few official ones. 📸
It's been an incredibly intensive year (and summer), so I've been holding back on Instagram posts. But this moment deserves a pause.
As I told many old and new colleagues — one day in Jingdezhen felt like three days in Norway. And trust me, Oslo keeps me busy enough as it is! 😅
Meeting people I've known for years through international art activity — refreshing old friendships, starting new ones, sparking collaborations, sharing ideas — was a gift. It felt like reconnecting with my old self.
Some moments are unforgettable, especially when you're reminded we're all part of a bigger structure. We meet in different parts of the world, and in the end, friendships and collaborations are everything. That's why it's so important to be good to each other — but also to stay real.
I want to highlight that this stay was fully funded by .pl (Instytut Adama Mickiewicza) with support from Norske Kunsthåndverkere (Norske Kunsthåndverkere) reisestøtte — thank you for making this possible. 🙏
The outcomes of the conversations we had will be seen in years to come. I'm so glad to have learned, shared, and participated in this amazing event — and to see Jingdezhen again, and how it's grown since my last visit.
Some places change. Some connections stay. And some just grow deeper.
